PSA for any entrepreneurs under the age of 30! I highly recommend this early stage incubator/accelerator programme for any person who wants to get into the entrepreneur space. I could say a lot about it’s very small cohort size which makes the programme feel more personalised and tailored or the amazing resources available or the free office/coworking space but to me, the thing that sets the future leaders programme apart from other accelerators is that they give founders money to actually live. One thing that is often overlooked about being an entrepreneur is that you will spend at least a year without a salary. You are bootstrapping so much you can’t afford to pay yourself a salary. For many young people, especially from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, being an entrepreneur comes with the incredibly high risk of not being able to pay bills/eat/survive. This programme, on top of the amazingly supportive environment and resources, gives you £500 a month for 6 months so you can at least pay some of your bills while you start up your start-up. No point creating a start-up to save the world if you can’t even save yourself. That’s why I absolutely endorse TPXimpact | B Corp™ ‘s Future Leaders programme.
