Thanks for the insightful post! My exprience says breaching through the gatekeepers of the UT Dallas Journals needs more than being innovative, tackling real world problems with rigorous methodologies. Suppose marketing is a huge ceremony, I think the researcher must be at the right table to get know the wicked problems that thought leaders are discussing. That is why I am applying for your school despite having an INFORMS group decision making paper in hand!

Reading your recent paper about the ideation process of academic research I was pleasantly surprised by the unique adapted and applied canvas model in it. The canvas model is well-known in business model generation already. The applied research contribution canvas model shows the key elements that enable and embed the contribution of academic research.
