Rather than the convergence of corporate networking and collaboration streaming this a better example of IT tech, broadcast, events and AV working together. Varsity players will be able to work seamlessly between both worlds. At a scale of hundreds of thousands or millions of users you may need dedicated techs for each part (creation and distribution) but a good many gigs will be able to use one or two hybrid techs for both the streaming infrastructure and content creation. Particularly if you’re going to something that self scales (at least from your perspective) at the user end like Twitch or You Tube. I see this sort of application as a transition like when tape decks and consoles moved to DAWs.
