This week is nearly closed officially. Like many of you I try to reflect on the week and capture my learnings from the many interactions that shaped these 6 days (..I know, I know.. I work on Sunday to prep for the week) 1. If you are experiencing increased turnover of key talent, we re-learn often that teammates leave leaders who do not care and a workplace culture that fails to nurture. 2. Investing in leaders and professional development pays dividends for years and strengthens the fabric of the organization. (see item 1). Cutting costs in Learning and Development due to fiscal constraints impacts all echelons of the organization, the cost savings will be lost when you are trying to replace talent whose departure can be attributed to a lack of organizational commitment. 3.
