Sharing some Client Love ❤️ Having trained numerous passionate individuals in my Colour Analysis course recently, the feedback has been nothing short of inspiring. It's about more than just discovering the perfect palette; it's about unlocking a new realm of self-assurance and expertise. ❤️ 🎨 Before joining the course, many expressed feelings of being stuck in a rut, constantly second-guessing their choices, and struggling to make definitive decisions for their clients. The world of color, vast and complex, can often feel overwhelming. But here's the magic we've witnessed: 🌈️A Surge in Confidence: Post-course, stylists have shared how empowered they feel. The comprehensive understanding of color theory, combined with practical, hands-on training, has equipped them with the confidence to make informed decisions. No more second-guessing! 🌈️ Enhanced Client Satisfaction: The ripple effect of this newfound confidence? Thrilled clients who walk away feeling understood, valued, and radiant in their color choices. Our stylists now report an increase in client satisfaction and loyalty, a testament to the effectiveness of their training. 🌈️ Personal Growth and Development: Beyond the professional accolades, there's been a beautiful journey of personal growth. Understanding color is also about understanding oneself and others on a deeper level. This journey of discovery has led many to not only become better stylists but also more attuned individuals in their personal lives. The next Colour courses start in June! It can be difficult for professional creatives to strike a balance in their personal presentation. What hairstyle, for example, communicates to prospective clients that you are both imaginative and effective? Studies* have shown that training a small dragon to perch on your head can make the difference that wins you that commission. Think about it - how many people can source a dragon, let alone teach it to act as a hat? *There weren't actually any studies.

When she said it took her three times to pass the bob module, I knew I was going to great a great haircut. 💇 According to my new stylist, the bob is one of the hardest haircuts to learn. Who knew? I’ve worn my hair in some form of a bob for more years than I can count, and no other stylist has ever shared this challenge with me. 🤔 It took a lot of courage, I thought, for my new acquaintance to open up about how tough she’d found it to master the popular cut. She mentioned her two failed bob exams so nonchalantly that for a split second I was a bit put off. 😰 How recently had she passed the bob test, I wondered? And what was her passing grade? My hairdo was in her hands! But that initial wariness was fleeting because I quickly recognized that I was in the hands of someone to whom FAIL is simply an acronym for First Attempt in Learning. 😁 That kind of person doesn’t just repeat assigned tasks—they consciously strive to master a craft. That’s exactly the kind of person I aspire to be in my creative work. Though I don’t advertise my flops, I’ve failed spectacularly as both a writer and as a teacher. And that’s why I’m now able to empower others to write and teach. You know you've become an expert when you’re able to own up to your bungles matter-of-factly, like the woman who told me about her bob troubles while calmly snipping away at my hair. What have your failures in research communication taught you? 💬 #LearningThroughFailure #CreativeGrowth #EmpowermentThroughMistakes #MasterYourCraft #ConfidenceInCreativity #CourageToFail
