Richard Bandler has been one of the people who has greatly influenced my thinking throughout my life. Owen Fitzpatrick has summarized some of Richard's great words of advice. This advice relates to frameworks and topics I've dealt with professionally, as well. #1. Creates luck. There's a large element of luck in every endeavor. You can't control opportunity, but by doing #1, you can make increase the chances of finding opportunity. #2. Has to do with choosing which problems to solve, and which solutions to address. Often in business, people frame the problem poorly, which leads to solutions that don't work. #3. Is a key component of "entrepreneurial thought and action," an approach to entrepreneurship I learned at Babson College, based on the effectuation work of Prof. Saras Sarasvathy. #4. No business lesson here. It's a great therapeutic lesson, though, and is 100% aligned with our current understanding of the neuroscience of memory. #5. No comment. I am -not- going to mention office politics. I am -not- going to mention any one of a number of business trends. I am not. I am not. I am not. Owen Fitzpatrick and Richard Bandler are the best.
