Did you know that you can embed an instance of Hoppscotch in your blog? A while ago, we launched Hoppscotch embeds where a user can create a mini version of Hoppscotch and embed it on their website, blog, or even to document their APIs and let anyone interact with it. One problem that arose was embeds didn't support variables! So, with this release, we introduced request variables which can now be used in an embed and, at the same time, can function as a path parameter for the API! Now, when you're importing an OpenAPI definition into Hoppscotch, path parameters will be mapped to request variables. #innovation #productmanagement #technology #softwareengineering #programing

🌟 I recently competed in my first ever hackathon at HackNC, and I’m still on a high from the experience! 🌟 For 24+ hours of brainstorming, coding, and teamwork, I worked with Naseerah Kani, Simone Panja, and Amulya Kalidindi— to bring Project Secure to life! 💥 Project Secure is a safety app designed with a unique twist. Hidden under the guise of a food-ordering app, it provides a discreet way for victims to reach out for help. We wanted to create something impactful and practical, and seeing our vision come to life was incredibly rewarding! It was inspiring to build something that could actually help people stay safe, and I’m SO proud of what we accomplished! The atmosphere at HackNC was electric, filled with endless creativity, collaboration, and the rush of racing against the clock. It’s amazing what can happen when passionate people come together to solve real-world problems. I learned so much about app design, teamwork, and what it really takes to turn an idea into reality overnight. 💡💻 HackNC, you were unforgettable, and this won’t be my last hackathon! 🌱 Reflecting on Code Red 3.0 Hackathon - A Year Later 🚀 A year ago, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in Code Red 3.0 Hackathon, where my team and I set out to build an innovative app aimed at transforming the agriculture sector. 🌾📱 While we didn’t take home the prize, the experience was invaluable. 🙌 🔹 We learned the importance of collaboration—working under pressure with a diverse team to solve real-world problems. 🔹 We deepened our understanding of technology's role in agriculture, and how innovative tools can help farmers with data-driven insights. 🔹 We also faced the ups and downs of rapid prototyping, balancing technical challenges with a clear vision. Although we didn’t win, this journey strengthened my passion for tech, problem-solving, and using innovation for social impact.
