I believe that things that scare you don’t actually scare you, they scare the current version of you! Because how many of us are doing things that we love today, but were scared of yesterday?

Steven Bartlett I found this at a temple in Thailand Death said, "You're only putting off the inevitable." and Buddha whispered, "That's what being alive is all about." You just can't live the same year for 75 years and call it a life! Take it form me, at 55 years that seemed to happen fast, one day you will wake up and you won't know what its like to have a 20 year old's heart or a 30 year old's ambition. Enjoy being bad at something, sucking at something is hilarious, sometimes being the best is overrated! Burn the bridges. Nuke the foundations. Back yourself up against a wall. Have an opinion one way or the other, get off the fence and cut yourself off so there is no going back... because time is a theif and fear is a liar. Listen to them and before you know it you're 80 years old and your biggest regrets you have are what you didn't do. Personally, I don't fear death. I fear a life unlived...

Wow, I can totally relate! I am currently doing something that feels incredibly scary for me: pursuing a doctorate. As a mom of three kids, managing a full-time business, lecturing at a university, volunteering for two non-profits, and mentoring people in the community, taking on this doctorate is a significant challenge. Am I crazy? I am not sure, but I know that to achieve my goals, I need to step out of my comfort zone and push my boundaries. So yes, I embrace it; I feel the fear and do it anyway.
