Before you put pen to paper (or fingers to the keyboard), know who you’re writing for. This applies to all content, but even more so when you’re writing tech. Tech audiences vary a lot. A loooottttttt…. There are people -who pays to make things -who decides what to make -who design them -who builds products ……… ……… -And there are people who use them. All of them -understand the product differently -have different pain points -value different things. If you don’t define who you’re writing for Some people may -Not understand what you’ve written -Don’t care about what you’ve written -Never see what you’ve written. Looking for a writer who understands the tech audience? Shoot me a DM and let’s talk business. #Tech #ContentWriter #ContentWriting

"Your writing lacks soul," my mentor told me. I was crushed. But she was right. That feedback changed everything: I stopped trying to sound "professional." Started writing like I talk. Embraced my quirks and experiences. The results were immediate: • Clients raved about the authenticity • Readers connected on a deeper level • My words finally had impact Human writers, we have a superpower: Our unique voice and lived experiences. One of the best things that happens to me as a writer isn't when I hear positive feedback from an editor, though that's awesome-sauce. One of the best things is when you hear that the work you're doing has a positive, life-changing impact on others. Needed that. #healthwriter #copywriter #editorial

"There's never been a more urgent need for the work that First Story does." This quote from Sophie Hiscock, First Story's new CEO, struck a chord. As a writer, I see the widening attainment gap in writers every day. But here's the thing: Writing isn't just an academic skill. It's a superpower. It builds confidence. It amplifies voices. It opens doors. How can we, as professionals, support young writers? What's your thoughts on this? ♻️Repost and follow for more. I almost find it funny when people assume writing is easy. Non-writers often ask, “What’s the big deal with writing? Even Chat GPT can do it.” So, I’ve developed a new hobby to blow apart their delusions. Writing is NOT just about stringing words together. It requires a HUGE amount of backend work to make it WORTH a read. When you’re a writer, you are also a: • Strategist • Researcher • Wordsmith • Formatter • Analyst ^ Trust me, the actual list is so HUGE that the character count of this post will run out. Worst part of it? Writers only get paid for WRITING. Not for all the backend work, which is messed up. Everyone cannot be a writer. It’s a skill of high value. Appreciate and pay them well. Do you think writing is an easy job? Why is it so undervalued? Share your thoughts and experiences to highlight what writers go through. Thanks for reading. Friend: Hey, what are you up to? Me: Just doing some content writing. Friend: Really? It looks like you're just staring at the screen. Me: Writer: Nope, I’m speculating words with my mind. Friend: Speculating words? All I see is a blank white screen! Me: Writer: It’s part of the creative process. Friend: So, your process is to stare at a blank screen? Me: Writer: No, first I stare, then I think, then I write. Friend: Sounds like a lot of staring. Me: Hey, inspiration needs eye contact with the screen! Friend: So basically, your job is to have a staring contest with your computer? Me: Only until the screen blinks first. Then the magic happens. Friend: And if the screen doesn’t blink? Me: Then it’s coffee break time. Creativity needs fuel too! Friend: Sure it does. So, it's like this- staring, coffee, then writing? Me: Yes! you got it finally! That's the work of a content writer. 😉 #contentwriter #contentwriting #creativewriting And this whole conversation is presented by a picture...

Being a content creator and writer i feel like we are not ahead of time , using these fancy words to glorify our ideas and thoughts in an article or blog or any content is still not reaching to the right people it’s not about glorifying fancy words its a put reaching to masses buy putting simple words. For example :- Rather saying AI will have positive reinforcement on jobs and people :- We can say AI will provide you easy hand to make your everyday yet official tasks easy Sole purpose of writing is to make people understand your brand, voice and vision of your business or thoughts. #freelancewriter #writer #contentwriter #Ai #writing #articles #blog #brand #freelancecontentwriter

Here's something that's been on my mind lately: I've met some fantastic writers who don't have formal degrees in writing or marketing but produce brilliant content. They've learned through the hustle of crafting articles, blogs, and ad copy through hands on experience, feedback, and lots of trial and error. Sure, a degree provides structure, theory, and a solid foundation. But if we're being honest, does the reader care about your degree, or do they care about the story you're telling and the value you're providing? I'd love to know what YOU think: Is formal education a must to thrive as a content writer, or is passion, practice, and persistence enough to get you there? If you're a content writer, I'm interested to hear your perspective! Feel free to drop your POV in the comments below. #ContentWriting #NoDegree #CareerJourney #WritingLife #FreelanceWriters #CreativeWriting #LinkedIncommunity
