I'm excited to share our new preprint, created in collaboration with leaders in science and AI/ML. It outlines how virtual cell models can transform the field and draws from extensive community discussions and a CZI-hosted workshop where many of the authors contributed. This is our roadmap for the future — developing, implementing, and deploying AI-driven virtual cells will require an #OpenScience approach, broad community involvement, and long-term commitment. https://lnkd.in/gzpJ6zN3

A very exciting study outlining a vision for AI-powered virtual cells. While incorporating an epigenetic layer might further enhance the model's predictive capabilities, given the crucial role of epigenetics in gene regulation and cell behavior.
