🙏 Thank you to the wonderful #leadership team at Britton and Time Solicitors for my TWO awards! 🎉 Since joining in late August, it's been an incredible journey contributing to our company's #growth and transformation. Our headcount has grown by 87% and here are some highlights of our achievements in that time: 1️⃣ Enhanced our employer branding strategy to change the way we attract, recruit and retain #talent and brought our recruitment in-house. 2️⃣ Implemented #LinkedInRecruiter and #LinkedInLearning. 3️⃣ Developed our Mental Health First Aid (#MHFA) training strategy. 4️⃣ Launched a new management #apprenticeship programme. 🚀 5️⃣ Enhanced our overall employee benefit package with medical cover, enhanced holiday, birthdays off and a death in service scheme. With plenty of new and exciting benefits and perks soon to come! 🤐 6️⃣ Established learning paths within our online learning platform. 7️⃣ Streamlined onboarding and exit procedures, recruitment, expenses and payroll processes. 8️⃣ Pioneered internal career pathways to foster growth and development. 🎉 It's that time of the week again! 🎉 Has it been a busy week? Yes. Has it had its challenges? Yes. Did England make me a nervous wreck again? Also, yes. But the highlight of the week was appreciating just how fortunate I am to have such a great, supportive team around me at Croftstone ! As a working parent, I'm sure a lot of my connections can relate to this scenario... ⚫ You've just completed your to do list for the week, it's going to be a busy one but you're excited at the amount of work you can throw yourself at. ⚫ You start ploughing through the tasks each day - excellent, you're on track! ⚫ Mid week comes and you've completed a lot on your list, but there's still a way to go. But it's ok, because you've planned out the week so you've got focus on what you're going to be completing and when you're going to be completing it by. 🔴 AND THEN....your youngest comes down with the sickness bug! 🔴 PANIC! Who's going to attend all of those meetings?! Who's going to complete those tasks for you?! 🔵 IT'S OK, because your super duper team at Croftstone understand what you're going through and appreciate that sometimes things don't go to plan. So they pull together to help you formulate Plan 2.0 - cover is given for meetings and tasks are delegated to help meet deadlines. 🔵 RELAX, because I get to put "Mummy Duties" first for my little one that needs me. I was able to switch off of work, and give all my time and energy to my little people at home, because I have a team around me that are invested in my success, as I am with theirs. And I would say that is absolutely something to be grateful for 👏 What #weekofwins are my connections celebrating? Whilst family business has its perks and challenges, it’s a position I’ll always treasure… —————————————————————————- 🧡 My role isn’t confined to certain responsibilities. I work across every aspect of the business from accounts to sales to staffing. No two days are the same (with a million mph brain, this is perfect!) 🧡 I get to spend everyday with my Dad. We actually get on better in business than ever! 🧡 There’s no limitations. From areas of development to growth opportunities, together we choose which direction we want to take things. —————————————————————————- And then there’s the downsides, which people usually forget about 👇🏼 🔸You don’t have clocking in and out hours - you work until the jobs done. 4/5am starts aren’t unusual for us. 🔸The business’ success and future is down to you. Thats a pretty big responsibility. 🔸 You’re constantly putting out fires. It’s your business so all the problems come back to you to resolve. It’s stressful! —————————————————————————- For me, the positives outweigh the negatives tenfold. I feel like the luckiest person ever!
