It is normal to expect a more top down approach to data and presenting the macro view from McKinsey & Company. The good part in this report is not too much of sprinkling of AI in it. The important point remains though - the priority for farmers today is improving productivity, whether through agriculture technologies (#agtech) for improving operations, biological products, or sustainable practices. Increasing productivity remains a core challenge that needs to be addressed globally.
