Ranked 14th globally and 1st in the Arab world in the Global AI Index by Tortoise Intelligence, the Kingdom is proving its commitment to a tech-driven future. This index measures artificial intelligence capabilities across 83 countries using 122 indicators, organized into three major categories: 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. Each category contains several sub-categories that provide a detailed look at specific aspects of AI development. In comparison, the United States leads the global rankings, followed by China and Singapore. The UAE is the second-highest ranked Arab country, coming in at 20th place. Saudi Arabia stands out in the Government Strategy sub-category, where it ranks first globally, reaffirming its strong leadership in AI initiatives.
