I want to talk about my creative process or the creative process in general and have written a post of one of my experiences. https://lnkd.in/dSmn2NuT

Some questions I ask myself when I'm in a creative rut: What story am I telling? Whether abstract or literal, every piece of art has a story. Think about the emotions, narratives, or experiences your work will convey. What am I willing to risk? Growth often lies in experimenting and embracing the unknown. Are you pushing yourself beyond your comfort zone? Who is this piece for? Are you creating for yourself, a particular audience, or someone who needs to feel seen? Sometimes, this purpose can change the entire approach. Am I staying true to my vision? Trends are fun, but does your work reflect what you want to say? Authenticity in art shines through every brushstroke and line. How does this piece make me feel? Before anyone else reacts, how does your art make you feel? Does it challenge you, soothe you, or spark something new? What am I learning about myself through this piece? Art can be a mirror. Sometimes the work reveals truths you didn’t know you were holding. What are you discovering? How does my medium enhance my message? Every tool or medium brings its own texture and voice. Does your choice of materials enhance the message or feeling you’re aiming for? What questions do you ask yourselves? #Authenticity #ArtVision

So I m making another video where I explain IMAGE SYSTEMS in films and how to arrive at a look after knowing exactly what an IMAGE SYSTEM is Any inputs from friends? Creativity thinks first horizontally. At the same time you have to intensify the stories event to give them weight, heighten their meaning. And deepen their emotional impact, your imagination creates verbal and visual imagery. Poetic powers tell stroy vertically. Writing stories is Vertical and horizontal. Intensifying everything and get a grip on the story and move ahead A good story well written and we'll told deserves expression and expressive imagery. Every images in front of us is more than itself. The imagery in story must recurr subconsciously. Image systems come from Universal knowledge Personal experiences Cultures So this is just a part of my exercise of studying a Films Imeage Systems and using it in Grading Fingers crossed. Any inputs most welcome

POV: You used to be jealous of people posting their art - but you found the courage to start posting your own 👇🏽 Ask any artist - Their work will never be ‘good enough’. Their work will never be ‘perfect’. Their work will never be ‘worthy’. I don’t know what it is in us creatives, but we always carry a deep sense of self-criticism - and it has got to stop. 🙅🏽♀️ So I’ve decided to start documenting my creative journey - (the ✨ process✨, if you will) - instead of the final product of every project I have a go at. I’ll leave space for mistakes. I’ll leave space for critique. I’ll leave space for growth. Because no one ever became a master of their trade without failure, setbacks and a whole lot of mistakes… And so - why hide them? No more waiting for perfectionism 🙅🏽♀️ - it only ever acts a barrier to actually starting.

My current read: "The Creative Act: A Way of Being" by Rick Rubin. It's not an instruction manual on how to 'make art', but rather serves as more of a Dharma Talk on how to become receptive to the subconscious, picking up on hidden queues and external signals, through which you naturally arrive in a space that allows you to draw out the creativity within. It's a thoroughly enjoyable read. I highly recommend this to all my creatives out there!

Absolutely, creativity allows us to express our innermost thoughts and emotions. Each artistic piece becomes a reflection of our experiences and perspectives. The colors we choose, the strokes we make, and the mediums we use all contribute to a deeper narrative that can provoke thought and evoke feelings in those who encounter our work. This connection between the creator and the audience is what makes art such a powerful form of communication. What type of creative project are you currently exploring?

I made this a couple of weeks ago as part of my daily practice. And here's the thing- I'm showing it to you upside down. When I made this, it was flipped around. When I finished, I spent some time looking at it, noticing, observing. Then I turned it around to this perspective and an image jumped off the page. And that's the magic of art - it becomes what it needs to be. When you make any kind art, you express yourself in ways beyond words. New information and perspectives emerge, sometimes surprising you. What do you see when you look at this? What do you notice? There is no wrong or right answer, by the way. What you see is what you see. And what I see is what I will spend some time with. Life is like art. Sometimes we need to change our perspective to see something more clearly. We need to look up or lie down and use our new visual angles to discover what we might have been missing. Does this resonate? Let me know. And make some art! You might just be surprised at what comes out of it. #creativeexpression #art #perspective

Content is art. Whether written, illustrated or recorded, all content expresses some degree of art. Artists consider these questions: 📚 Which word best expresses the thought? 🎨 Which colors will depict the emotion? 🎼 Which sounds will be most beneficial? 🤔 Will my audience understand the expressions? These are the considerations of artists. Whether we create visual art or well-crafted words, content is art. Let’s create well. Do you agree or disagree? Comment below. (It's okay if you disagree!)

What to do when your #art doesn’t represent you anymore?🎨 . As creatives we go through waves: often researching, constantly evolving, sometimes stuck or struggling 🌊 But there are moments where we feel our our art is not aligned with our personality or aesthetic taste anymore and we need to find a solution 🔍 . Personally I like to study, A LOT. From past artists, new comic or picture books, movies…I tend to absorb whatever I find visually interesting and digest it into a new addition to my art: a certain way to draw a profile, some recurring geometric shapes, a palette to define the mood 🎨 This image, for example, is a mix between paper and digital in an attempt to combine my two worlds and find my new creative voice✂️💻 . Try to stay curious and look for the things that spark your #imagination ✨

The amount of time, effort, heart and soul, blood, sweat and tears that goes into producing art.....its amazing that it can be acquired and consumed so easily, cheaply and for free even, when it is soooo "expensive" to put out. I'm referring to a 3 hour radio show. Or a 3 minute song. Or an episode of a series. Anyone creative knows the long hours, the endless poring over details, editing and re-editing, the amount of creatives involved in one second of material. The second-guessing of your own creative instinct. The self-crit we try to keep under control. We are a very special and powerful type.....creatives. So when we then also display emotional "instability" and such "less desireable" tendencies in our day to day lives.....it is fair to say, it is actually quite reasonable....? It takes an open, broken , fragile, susceptible, vulnerable, attuned heart to produce emotion and passion that can be consumed in the form of visual and audible art - as in a movie, a reality show, a book, a song, a painting. Cheers to all my creative peers. The struggle is soooo real. It's tough out there and most of us can barely pay bills a lot of the time.
