To provide the foundation for effective decisions, informed policies, and impactful solutions in a rapidly evolving world by leveraging data and AI responsibly. A small selection of highlights from 2024: 📖 Launched the Fourth Wave of Open Data: A new framework exploring how generative AI and #opendata can combine to serve the public good. 🎯 Built a Digital Platform for Data for Philanthropy: Helping #philanthropies use data-driven approaches across the grant-making cycle. 🏙️ Developed a Public-Private Data Collaboration Framework in #AbuDhabi: Outlining the enabling environment and step-by-step implementation for impactful data sharing. 🛡️ Promoted Digital Self-Determination (DSD): Helped establish DSD as a key principle of equitable #datagovernance, recognized by the United Nations. 🕊️ Supported #PeaceTech Innovation: Through the Kluz Prize for PeaceTech, we promoted start-ups leveraging technology for peace. 🏙️ Advanced Civic Trust in #NYC: Created a framework and evaluation tool for the NYC Civic Engagement Commission, fostering trust and participation. 🚶 Anticipatory Methods for #Migration Policy: Developed a taxonomy and tool for selecting the right methods to address future migration challenges. 🌐 Made AI Localism part of the #AI Governance Landscape: Enhancing understanding of how #cities govern AI through our Repository 🧸 Mainstreamed Data Responsibility for Children: With the Learning Package for Responsible Data for #Refugee #Children, supporting UNICEF and UNHCR offices worldwide. ❓ Advancing a New Science of Questions: Advanced participatory questioning approaches with #social changemakers. 📖 For more details about these projects and others, check out our Year in Review 2024 (37 pages of activities and findings!) : https://lnkd.in/dUCa7VQD 🤝 Interested in collaborating in 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ Send me a message! #DataCollaboration #ResponsibleTech #DataForGood #GovLabImpact #Innovation
