Director Electric Fleets Programme at Transport & Environment

The question in 2025 won't be anymore do I buy an electric or petrol car but what type of electric car I want. The EV market will look completely different than today. Many more affordable (!) models will hit the market next year. Main reason? The EU car CO2 standards will kick in, pushing carmakers to finally start selling the EV models that people can afford. This EU law is a great example how it can benefit people and planet. Great graph by my colleague Yoann GIMBERT

there's a lot of HOPE products here though EU Commission probably killed a 20K Seagull but I'm here to embrace these products, they are much needed and YEARS TOO LATE but without regulation, EU might never been able to get them to market welcome to China, TODAY, meanwhile: #alwaysbecharging

No the question will be, where do I find a job, that only pays matching inflation. With no raise for experience level, only a decline in pay for experience level. 2) Iff found will my old petro car make it long enough to save enough to replace it with something better, ICE or battery or both Or conversion of ICE to NICE = New batteries in an old hybrid + ICE.

Time has come to 🛑 stop bulldozing of Wrong sized Nonfunctional Over-capacity..... cars! Such resources inefficient, heavier, long...cars have increased Congestions, Casualties, Energy Consumptions Emissions, Damages to pavements of public roads, burden on Tax Payers! Such cars have been promoted by the ill-informed, ill-advised influencers, Ministers, political leaders, NGOs stakeholders, authorities, Quake- Professionals, so called Greenies! All have been to loot, cheat and fool the road users and Tax Payers! In 5/7 seaters resources - inefficient fleet cars on 99% trips, up to two occupants have been observed!! The highest selling electric car in China has been a two seater Wuling Mini at$6000!

Let's stay tuned if VW ID.2 and Škoda Epic are coming 2025. You can just preorder the Škoda Elroq, and it will be shipped in 2025. So I guess ID.2 and Epic will not come to the customers before 2026.

The prior question is if i need a car, or i can have a MaaS subscription for the moments I really need car. Please we need to stop the narrative that there is no otherway that with a car. The future is shared resources much more than electric alternatives. The environmental impact, not just co2 is still high and the planet cannot sustain it...

According to Citroen, EVs are no longer for the "elite", with the ëC3. Admitting their current (and other STLA EV) have been too expensive? Wouldn't put the VAG snall Cars down for 2025. That's not looking on schedule right now. 2026 has been mentioned earlier on.

Never understood why VW did not continue selling the e-Up and Skoda equivalent until they finally (and way too late) come with the ID2 and ID1.

And bankrupt the trational industry and kill thousands of jobs. Stop politicians declaring technology winners, dump the ZEV mandate, and allow the best technology to emerge in the market place.
