It is produced domestically, and the situation around it has remained the same, Dark Metrics analysts say. At the same time, other types of illicit substances have changed in price, Lakhov explains: "SOME IMPORTED ITEMS HAVE GONE UP IN PRICE DUE TO MORE COMPLICATED LOGISTICS. AND THIS MAY HAVE REDUCED DEMAND FOR THEM" According to the expert, the most commonly used drugs in Russia today include cannabinoids and synthetic cathinones. At the same time, Russians are no longer taking opioids as actively as, for example, ten years ago. "We should also not forget about the so-called pharmacy drugs," Lakhov continues. Greece is setting again a bad precedent for whistleblowers and demonstrates the failure to fully transpose the EU Directive on the protection of whistleblowers. The fact that the identity of the whistleblowers cannot be kept confidential because someone accuses them of defamation or other similar offences is not correct and it is an obstacle for their protection. In addition, if any financial reward was given by the US, that does not mean that the whistleblowers had financial motives. Most importantly, the implication of political persons who now want to make public the names of the whistleblowers is a clear sign that political corruption will not end if whistleblowers are not fully protected.
