The painting, inspired by Alfred Lord Tennyson's poem based on the King Arthur legend, was created by John William Waterhouse in 1888. It depicts the journey of Lady Elaine, towards Camelot on the river, capturing the mystical atmosphere of the Arthurian tale. #StandartPump #StandARTBeyondWater #TheLadyofShalott #JohnWilliamWaterhouse

One of my favorite parts about creating a sacred painting is sharing the symbolism that helps us learn more about the truth! This work, THIS IS MY BODY, has loads of symbolism in it! Here are a few that I'm chatting about! Curious, what's the first thing that grabs your attention with this painting??👇🏼 #catholicart #lastsupperart #theologyofthebody #visualgrace #commissionart

Fire and Ice: Oil on ACP 55.2cm x 36.7cm I'm often inspired by contrasts between light and dark, positive and negative, reality and fantasy. This painting explores the contrast between warmness and coolness, with the concept of remaining steadfast and focussed no matter what chaos is around us

"LUMINESCENT 1" The first painting in the "LUMINESCENT SERIES". The works have two personalities: the one in ordinary light and the second in the dark & after activation by a targeted light source. A clip of this intriguing little painting showing its natural light state and luminescent state.

A painting of George Washington Carver. When asked why he never married, Carver responded 'How can I explain to a wife that I must be up at 4am to talk to flowers?' I love this painting because it makes me think of that quote - that's what I imagine he's doing here - talking to his flowers. Here's a link to the current episode, which is about George Washington Carver: https://lnkd.in/gcnzch7D
