"Making A Positive Impact!” - SSi People India Foundation Week - Day 3 Vidya Bhavan: Transforming Lives with Care and Compassion 🌟❤️ On the occasion of SSi People India Foundation Week, our team member, Sinchana Prasanna, had the privilege of visiting Vidya Bhavan Charitable Trust. Established in 2018 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, Vidya Bhavan is a pro-life, non-profit, non-political, humanitarian, and secular organization dedicated to uplifting the lives of orphans, the needy, the abandoned, and the underprivileged. With a strong focus on equitable development and inclusive growth, Vidya Bhavan strives to empower humanity by providing essential support and opportunities for those in need.🌏✨ The organization is making a significant impact through its Children’s Homes, which offer education, food, shelter, and clothing to children who are orphaned, neglected, or impoverished. These homes are designed to foster the holistic development of the children. Each day at Vidya Bhavan begins with gratitude for a new day and includes a diverse range of activities such as yoga, karate, academics, dance, music, and recreational programs. The day concludes with a prayer, instilling values of mindfulness and thankfulness. Vidya Bhavan strongly believes in empowering children, recognizing that they are the architects of a better future.🏡🌱 The philosophy of Vidya Bhavan is rooted in the belief that every individual—child, woman, or man—has the inherent right to dignity and self-determination. Their initiatives aim to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to realize their full potential and lead fulfilling lives. By combining the benefits of state welfare schemes with the expertise of social sector professionals, Vidya Bhavan implements impactful programs that uplift communities and transform lives.🤝✨ It is inspiring to see the older children supported by Vidya Bhavan confidently stepping into their independent futures, ready to participate fully in society and shape their destinies. Such success stories stand as a testament to the meaningful work being done by this incredible organization.🌍✨

"My father works cleaning in the temple and my mother cares for the house. My school is very far; I have to walk 3-4 kilometres every day. Then one of my friends told me that Sir would teach me here for free. From then on, I started coming here," says Krishna Kumar, a young student at Shyam ji's study centre. Krishna's brother had to leave school after 5th grade due to poverty. He started working in a factory, enabling the family to have two meals a day. "I don't want to leave my studies; I want to become a teacher to help other children like me who cannot study, like Sir is doing for us," says Krishna. There are 200 children like Krishna here, whose parents do odd jobs. Most don't even get food to eat regularly, so education takes a back seat. Shyam ji started a study centre in UP's Jansa village for these underprivileged kids after surviving bone marrow cancer. Shyam ji asked around the village for help and used the donations he received — to the tune of Rs 6 lakh — to build a makeshift hall. However, when they came to the roof, there weren’t any funds left. So during heatwaves and heavy rains, the only option is to cancel classes. This is where you can help. Your donation towards rebuilding this roof can change everything. It’s not just about shelter; it’s about giving these children a safe place to dream big and achieve their goals. Together, we can build a brighter future for them, one brick at a time. #DonateARoof now : https://buff.ly/3L5qtsP #EducationForAll #SupportEducation #MonsoonDonation #CommunitySupport #TheBetterIndia #Changemaker #RealLifeHero [ Education For All, Support Education, Help Children, Monsoon Donation, Donate Now, Community Support, Varanasi, Heroes of Humanity, Changemakers, Real Life Heroes, Donate A Roof Campaign ]

Shyam ji's learning centre provides free education to over 200 children inside a humble, unfinished room, put together with blood, sweat, and tears. With just two tin sheets for protection from extreme weather conditions, the roof is unable to shelter the students, thus disrupting their classes and putting their health at risk. Especially now with the monsoon season, rain seeps through, drenching students, their bags, and books. This forces Shyam ji to cancel classes, disappointing children who walk miles to attend." "When it rains heavily, the tin sheets are useless. The rain makes its way inside the shelter, drenching the students, their bags and their books. These are children of parents who do odd jobs. Most don't even get food to eat regularly, so education takes a back seat. At this centre, these kids are cared for, fed, helped with studies, played with, and given everything they need to dream big. So it's heartbreaking to cancel classes due to a crumbling roof," says Shyam Shrivastav. We've observed the grand generosity of millions of charity and Zakat donations from Indians. This remarkable kindness inspires hope to combat illiteracy. As educators, we see this as an opportunity to illuminate paths towards brighter futures. That's why we've committed to collecting and managing charity and Zakat funds to sponsor underserved children, orphans, and children of single mothers. We firmly believe that quality education is not just a luxury but a necessity. That's why we're dedicated to sponsoring children in reputable schools. Through Zakat and charitable contributions, we empower needy parents and single mothers in Bareilly and Rampur to enroll their children in quality schools. Under the guidance of Shahnawaz Khan, a seasoned school leader with 32 years of experience, we strive to enroll 100 children in quality schools, providing direct support for a brighter future. #Together, let's create a brighter tomorrow! Your generosity has the power to cultivate success in the lives of underprivileged children, offering them education and mentorship. Let's collaboratively transform lives and ignite the flame of knowledge. Edhope Foundation: Empowering dreams, Igniting hopes! 🌟 Let's Gift Happiness to Madan and his Friends at ABIM! 🌟 Meet Madan, one of the brightest stars shining at Anand Believe In Me Centre (ABIM). Despite facing challenges living beside a dumping ground in West Bengal, Madan's creativity and determination know no bounds. His passion for turning waste into wonder is truly inspiring. Just recently, he amazed us all by crafting an electric mini fan from items found in the dumping ground, showcasing his ingenuity and potential. But Madan's dreams go beyond just innovation. Unlike many of us, his dream is simple yet profound - to become an engineer. When asked what he plans to do once he achieves his dream, Madan's response touched our hearts: "Aunty, I will purchase a pair of black shoes for all the kids of ABIM, which they dream of." Reflecting on Madan's words, it hit me - while we may have several pairs of shoes to match our outfits, these children dream of just one new pair they can call their own. Today, on International Day of Happiness, I decided to gift a pair of shoes to an ABIM kid, ensuring that students like Madan have access to the resources they need to thrive. Know more about Madan https://lnkd.in/eJAvrJQe As we embark on a new academic year, these children have simple dreams: shoes, socks, water bottles, pencil boxes - the basics that many take for granted. Your donation can make these dreams a reality. By supporting our mission, you're not just giving, you're empowering young minds like Madan's to reach for the stars. On this International Day of Happiness, let's come together to Gift Happiness. Click the link below to donate now: https://lnkd.in/ejiYMuTv Every contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students. #GiftHappiness #EmpowerYoungMinds #InternationalDayOfHappiness #lovewithoutboundaries #everychildcounts
