⚠️Important ⚠️ If you're a small business owner, it's important to understand common business terms. You may have heard of some of them. Make sure to read all of them to be certain of their meanings. 🤓 SEO (Search Engine Optimization): SECRETLY ENVIOUS OWLS - A society of owls who are covertly jealous of how effortlessly other birds soar through the sky, much like businesses envy the top search result positions. ROI (Return on Investment): REALLY OUTRAGEOUS ICECREAM - The act of investing in an extravagant ice cream flavour only to find it's the best decision you've ever made. B2B (Business to Business): BORED TO BLISSFUL - The magical transformation experienced when a meeting finally ends and you can go back to doing what you love. KPI (Key Performance Indicator): KITTENS PURRING INTENSELY - A measure of performance that evaluates the soothing effect of listening to kittens purr during stressful work hours. CRM (Customer Relationship Management): CATS RULE MAGNIFICENTLY - The undeniable truth is that in any customer relationship, the customer is as unpredictable and demanding as a cat. B2C (Business to Consumer): BEDTIME TO COFFEE - The critical transition period that all adults experience, from the moment they wake up to their first cup of coffee, is essential for any business dealing with humans. PPC (Pay-Per-Click): PENGUINS PRACTICING CARTWHEELS - The amount of effort a penguin would need to exert to successfully perform a cartwheel, similar to the effort businesses put into each paid click in hopes of conversion. Let me know in the comments below if you know those terms. 😉😁

This is how to increase your conversions by 900% You might be thinking "900%?? How is that even possible?" Well, with 2 simple strategies, you could dramatically increase your sales practically overnight. 1️⃣ - Following up with your leads within 5 minutes or less via phone, SMS & email. There’s some solid research on this topic. According to the Harvard Business Review, if you wait five minutes to contact a lead you decrease your chances of getting a response by 10 times! That’s quite a lot, right? But, if you call them in the first five minutes… You increase your chances of converting those leads by a whopping 900%! No Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok hacks needed. Use can automation in your CRM to follow up on missed calls and form submissions, regardless of your location. And that's not all. 2️⃣ - Implement conversion campaigns that follow up with unconverted leads 5-7 times via Phone, SMS & email until they book their service call or estimate. The study also found that your chances of making contact with a lead and converting them go up by 90% if you make a minimum of six phone calls to them. Six calls might seem like a lot. But think of all the wasted opportunities just by not following up ASAP. To ensure the maximum conversion percentage... You want to make sure you're using multiple channels to contact these leads. Not just phone. If you’re new to these strategies and want to see real growth in your gutter business, I’m here to help you get your online marketing right and keep those quality leads coming! B2B companies, don’t let your growth ambitions crumble. Start with a solid foundation. Just like a skyscraper needs a strong base to reach its full height, your business needs robust fundamentals for sustainable growth. Yet, many B2B companies overlook these crucial steps and wonder why they struggle to grow. Here are some common pitfalls: 1. Marketing to everyone 2. Lack of clear positioning or messaging 3. Confusing buying process 4. Unfocused website For some companies, these issues are relatively easy and quick to solve. However, they don't do it. Why? - Some just don't see the issues. - Others underestimate how much impact these fundamentals have. So they ignore them. These issues have a direct negative impact on essential metrics like: →Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) →Website Conversion Rate →Closed-Won Rate →Pipeline Velocity Some companies are fortunate enough to have built strong brands over the years. The brand effect compensates for the lack of fundamentals. But less fortunate companies can't afford to have these issues. Instead of running in circles, testing new flashy strategies, focus on building a strong foundation: 1. Simplify the buying process. 2. Define and narrow down your ICP. 3. Craft clear, compelling positioning and messaging. 4. Design a website that serves a clear purpose and guides buyers seamlessly. Once these elements are in place, the growth machine can operate smoothly and efficiently, paving the way for long-term success. Don’t let your growth ambitions crumble. Build a solid foundation first, and the sky's the limit. 🚀

With so many CRMs to choose from, how do you decide? While the price is a consideration (especially if you're a small business), a better approach is to focus on how the CRM will integrate with your business goals. While Google Docs and Excel Sheets are great ways to minimize startup costs, they will only hurt you in the long run. Eventually, you will need a platform that everyone on your team can use to make more informed decisions about your marketing channels, the quality of your leads, and how both impact your bottom line. Check out our latest blog, which explores the top CRMs being used across different companies, why each CRM might be a good fit, and our slightly biased opinion on why we use a CRM like HubSpot for our sales and marketing efforts. FYI, while we provided links to each company so you can learn more about their features and pricing, none are affiliate links, so feel free to check them out. Feel free to share this article with a small business owner currently on the fence about using a CRM. https://lnkd.in/g4MMvPmk

Never buy a funnel “If you implement this new funnel, you’ll get better clients”, “New AI funnel”, “New community funnel”, “Low-ticket funnel”, They promise that if you implement their funnel, “your business is going to scale” But let me tell you something: It’s not about the funnel… And I’ll explain why. Whether you make money through: Paid ads, Lead generation, Lead forms, VSL funnels, Community funnels, Direct messages (DMs), Or a setter dialing leads and setting appointments, The only two factors that determine how profitable and how fast you can scale your business are: 1. Cost of attention The only asymmetrical advantage you should focus on in your funnel is: Can you lower the cost of acquiring leads? Can you get attention for free? If you can capture 100% of your target audience’s attention For the lowest investment possible and convert them, then you’re winning. But that’s not a function of the funnel. It’s a function of: Your creative strategy, The content you put in front of people, And the strength of your offer. Anyone promising that implementing their “new funnel” Will automatically grow your business is delusional. 2. Cost of fulfillment How scalable your business is depends on your operations and fulfillment processes. If delivering value to your clients costs you a lot of time or money every time, Then your business is not scalable. The people who make a lot of money are the ones who: Build systems once, And repeat those processes infinitely while delivering consistent results. The trap of buying funnels Instead of falling for the promises of a “new funnel”, no matter how good it sounds, remember this: The money is not made in the funnel. The money is made in selling the funnel. Focus on these two factors that truly matter in business: Cost of attention – If you can acquire attention for free, the market is yours. Cost of fulfillment – Streamlined operations and scalable processes are key. If you can acquire attention for (or almost) free The market is your.
