We are proud to join the United Nations Global Compact as part of our commitment to being a responsible company. This commitment is to operate responsibly, in alignment with the Ten Universal Principles, take actions to support society, and report to the UN Global Compact annually on our ongoing efforts. “As a family company in its third generation, it has always been important for us to continually strive for higher ethical standards of conducting our business. Our responsibilities toward our customers, employees, and the world around us form an essential part of our business. Joining the United Nations Global Compact is a natural, but extremely important, step for us to further increase our efforts in sustainability, human and labour rights, and anti-corruption – and a way to show the world that we are serious about what we do, and how we do it.” –Josefin Lindberg Roug, Deputy MD, SPM Instrument AB #UnitingBusiness

The UN Global Compact is the world's largest corporate responsibility network, pushing companies towards more responsible business practices. We report in line with the UN Global Compact's Communication on Progress reporting. Last year, the reporting was significantly revised and now all reporting companies use the same framework and answer the same questions. Participating organisations are committed to promoting responsible business practices in the areas of human rights, labour rights, environment and anti-corruption. Through the UN Global Compact, we have received important and up-to-date information on the development of corporate responsibility, further education on topics such as carbon footprinting. In 2021, we attended the climate ambition accelerator "course" offered by the UN Global Compact. When it comes to management, I believe in the power of positive peer pressure and clarity regarding what values we follow as an organization. It is important that everyone in the company shares the same purpose. That also applies more broadly – we can build strong organizations that make positive impact by requiring that our values are observed not only within our companies, but also in our business environment. We should expect that our partners and industry peers also follow a common goal of making the world a better place. In this way, we can be the agent of change. The United Nations Global Compact was established to do exactly that - mobilize and activate companies from around the world to align their operations and strategies to ten universal principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. I’m happy to share that I have been invited to join the UN Global Compact Network Poland General Assembly. I look forward to offering my support and contributing to the organization’s efforts to build a sustainable society. Kamil Wyszkowski, thank you for the invitation. 💚 You can learn more about the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact here: https://lnkd.in/dHwbj4yP #UNGlobalCompact #Sustainability #CorporateResponsibility #Innovation
