French project management and cost consultant Artelia has expanded its presence in the UK by acquiring multi-disciplinary consultant Pick Everard. With over 700 staff, Pick Everard's joining of Artelia, with a turnover of £70m, will enable the company to venture into new activities and markets. This move follows Artelia's previous acquisitions, bringing its UK workforce to nearly 1,000 employees. The acquisition aligns with Artelia's strategy to solidify its position as a multidisciplinary leader globally. Benoît Clocheret, CEO of Artelia, emphasised the importance of this growth, highlighting the enhanced skills in architecture and design engineering gained through the merger. This strategic move strengthens Artelia's foothold in the UK, a market with promising growth opportunities in various sectors. Duncan Green, CEO of Pick Everard, expressed optimism about the alignment of the two companies, foreseeing enhanced growth and success through diversified offerings and access to new clients.
