Web accessibility can be daunting, especially when there are legal requirements and real consequences for public sector organisations when your website is not compliant, and when there is the risk of excluding some of your target audience. We offer an Accessibility Assessment to review your website and lay it all out on the table in a way you can get your head around, so that we can make a plan to resolve any accessibility violations that have been flagged before your website gets reviewed by the government. You can learn a lot about web accessibility without necessarily having to rebuild your entire website. The important thing is, you're curious, you're open to feedback and you're ready to change your perspective. Here's how: 1. Ask people who are experiencing disability and listen to their feedback. 2. Review the core things you need people to do on your website, have those scenarios audited and tested to learn where the barriers are. 3. Create or update your website accessibility statement to acknowledge gaps and let people know how they can do business with you in a way that works best for them -- by phone, by email or some other way. You don't have to get it all done at once. Radio silence isn't the answer. Start the work now. #DigitalAccessibility #WebAccessibility #ProgressOverPerfection #SquarelyAccessible
