We have a two tiered system. The first tier is a project pooling model where developers who sign up to be an associate developer at ShrineTech take 80% of project revenue. Client communications are handled by ShrineTech directly, giving the developer(s) the ability to work on the code and implementation of their projects. We at ShrineTech are client facing developers so there is no typical knowledge gap between those who speak with the clients and the development staff. The second tier is full employment for our own first party applications and/or company subsidiaries with developers who are part of the first tier getting the first chance to be hired directly or choose to keep with their associate developer status. We are remote first with developers from the US, east Asia and Canada already a part of our initial setup. These developers are already well accomplished in their fields but the requirements for the first tier are not as 20th century as with other firms. Developers from every skill level and even those who wish to become developers are welcomed. We find that this allows developers to be more honest with their abilities and be encouraged to improve in a field that we know is never good to be complacent with. Instead of looking for a mythical unicorn with an exact skill set to a specific project, we look for developers who are hungry to learn and work on real life projects. The skills and experience of our initial team of developers already encompasses the entire breadth of this industry. If we are looking for a Junior developer, they don't need the experience of a senior developer as many other companies erroneously do. As of this posting, we are already full to capacity already for our tier one associate developers. As the company expands we will look to expand the team with these tenants in mind.

4 million developers are missing and 86% of companies struggle to hire experienced tech talent. The demand for top-tier developers is high, but the supply just isn’t keeping up. But there’s a way forward: low-code and no-code. Low code tools like our Power Components are designed to help app makers build business apps without having to rely on scarce developer resources. Companies can use configuration and drag-and-drop to create custom solutions faster—and they can do this without a full team of developers. Is your company exploring low-code solutions to bridge the talent gap?

Silicon Valley developers are better than any developers in the world because they get paid more. FALSE! I posted how I can hire software developers for $30 an hour, and everyone immediately says the developers are terrible. 90% of software developers aren't in the United States. The cost of living around the world is much different in Silicon Valley than it is Kansas City, the Philippines, Latin America, or Africa. Do you know what isn't different? The raw intellect of people or their access to the internet to learn. They just need an opportunity. Remote work has opened it up like never before to hire global talent. You have the same problem I did 5 years ago. Everyone I talked to had a horror story of doing software development offshore in primarily India. I started my own company Full Scale in the Philippines to ensure we hired top talent and did it the right way. 300 employees and 5 years later, I can confirm we did. There is amazing talent everywhere if you know how to find it. Need help? Full Scale can help!

I work on complex applications and rarely start a project from scratch. But when I do, I still want to make a diamond out of a rough one. What about you? Recently, during my exciting journey of searching for a developer role in Canada, one of the highlights was passing an interview and being assigned a challenging test task: creating a currency converter app. 💱 The company recommended spending a maximum of 2 hours to complete this challenge. 😏 After receiving valuable feedback from the team, I decided to elevate the app's quality by getting rid of the bugs and performance issues. I transitioned from using React to Vite, aiming for quicker performance and better efficiency. I also used TypeScript for data typing and created reusable components to reduce repetition. This shift allowed me to optimize the code significantly and also improve the app's styles. Although I didn't progress further with the company, the task left very positive experience, cause it boosted my confidence and skills. The process of refining the app taught me a lot about problem-solving, optimization, and the importance of feedback. This brings me to a couple of questions for my fellow developers: - Do you enjoy working on test tasks? 🤔 - Do you find that these tasks enhance your proficiency? 📈 - Do you revisit and improve your test tasks after initial feedback? 🔄 I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences. Let's discuss 🙂 Also leaving you the link to the deployed version of the app and the code could be found on my GitHub page. https://lnkd.in/gJgrjGVM #DeveloperJourney #CodingLife #SoftwareDevelopment #JobHunt #CareerGrowth
