If you're one of the few people who are not running from a management role right now, bravo, because it's a really tough one. Middle managers often take the burden of getting blamed when things go wrong. They have to take the heat from above and below. They often give up on work life balance as they try to do their own work and lead. But it's not managers that are the problem. I think it's how they're set up to fail. It's how we promote without the tools and resources they need and without helping them prioritize. Delegate and manage up. So in a few weeks we're running a Spark change lab with some experts to help tackle this problem. So I'm curious to hear from you what tools and support would help you actually enjoy being a manager?
