"In an industry facing constant change and challenges, data assurance is invaluable. It allows us to make informed choices that are backed by solid, dependable information, helping to build a more resilient housing sector that can adapt to the needs of tomorrow." Amramanjari Singh, Director of Data and Business Information, discussed the key questions shaping the future of housing at Housing Organisation of the Future, hosted by HQN. Read more ⬇ What do housing organisations of the future need to look like, who will they serve, what roles will they play, and crucially, what technology will keep them running smoothly and efficiently? These are the key questions shaping the future of housing, and the event aimed to shed light on the answers. One of the speakers leading this discussion was Amramanjari Singh, our Director of Data & Business Information. Amramanjari’s session focused on data assurance highlighting how we're using data assurance and strong knowledge and information management to underpin operations. This approach isn’t just about maintaining data integrity but leveraging that data to enhance services, increase efficiency, and drive innovation. For us, this means taking a proactive stance on data quality and security to enable smarter decision-making and, ultimately, better service delivery for our residents and local communities. By showcasing our commitment to high data standards, Amramanjari demonstrated how a well managed data framework can serve as a catalyst for progress. As the housing sector moves forward, the focus on solid data practices will not only support effective governance but also unlock new opportunities for growth and innovation. #SouthernHousing #UKHousing #DataAssurance #DataQuality #DataSecurity #ImprovingServices #Improvingefficiency #drivinginnovation #HousingFuture #HousingOrganisationoftheFuture

Brexit & COVID 2019 : UK Housing Market Changes with Clear Visual Insights The UK housing market has undergone significant transformation. Given that more than 25% of the population lives in key cities like London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle, Nottingham, and Sheffield, it's critical to comprehend these changes. Report color shading hack idea sourced from Solutions Abroad YouTube channel. The clarity of data presentation is paramount. In data visualization, adopting a minimalist approach often yields the greatest clarity. This was evident in a side-by-side comparison of graph styles—one featuring multiple colors, and the other using a single highlight. The latter graph employed a dark green color to distinctly mark market trends against a backdrop of muted color, effectively utilizing annotations to highlight the significance of the data for the cities in focus. A well-structured visualization aids in achieving this, enabling the audience to focus on the essential insights without distraction. 🚀 Unlocking the Potential of Dark Data in Social Housing 🚀 We’re thrilled to share insights from our CEO, Colin Sales, featured in the 100th edition of Housing Technology! 🏠✨ UK social housing is “data rich but insight poor.” The Social Housing Ombudsman calls for better data management, the sector’s “silver bullet.” Amidst the data deluge lies a hidden treasure: dark data. This unstructured, untagged, and untapped information makes up 80% of an organisation’s data, with nearly 40% holding significant value once analysed. Managing dark data effectively can reduce storage costs by up to 60% 📊 For more insights, check out the full article on page 49 of the latest Housing Technology edition or drop us a message on LinkedIn ✅ #HousingTechnology #SocialHousing #DataManagement #DarkData #3CConsultants

In the recent #housemark #cx club meeting Verity Richards (CIHM) Head of the Duty to Monitor at the Housing Ombudsman shared some research they had completed, 🖊️ Tenants feeling like no one cares or understands their situation 🖊️ Landlords having a lack of resources and not being listened to in their own organisations 🖊️ Agencies not responding to required repairs 🖊️ Call centres are challenging for all 🖊️ Lack of resources 🖊️ Lack of human contact 🖊️ Tenants don’t want to talk to computer generated messages as they don’t feel heard 🖊️ Lack of local knowledge to the people they speak to There were a number of key themes that cut across the whole survey of which #communications is significant - externally, internally and between groups. Any organisations looking to refresh their focus, update their insight, or reach out to customers more effectively are likely to find that their communications are lacking. In order to drive appropriate communications and #engagement activities, #stakeholdermanagement needs to be thought through carefully. Some tips: • Be proactive, not reactive • Consider the influence and impact each stakeholder has on the success of what you’re seeking to achieve (both short term and long term) before you start. • Step back and ask: What do we already know about the stakeholder? What does this tell us? What has been said elsewhere about our work? • For a given stakeholder, consider what are their needs, issues and problems that may stir up an emotional response what’s most important for them? Think about how you will handle this • Try to prioritise your stakeholders to ensure time, effort and resources are well managed. • Bring together stakeholders by areas of common interest and seek ways to approach them that have worked well before. • Ensure that the insights and data gained as a result of engagement are used to help risk and programme management and governance reporting • Put yourself in the shoes of stakeholders you work with what do they want? What’s in it for them? How will they react? If you wish to review your approach to stakeholder management then please reach out to me, at [email protected]
