Sometimes I forget my Mission. Sometimes I forget what a company in 400 locations around the UK does for a community. Sometimes I forget why we came to work this morning The amount of times I ring a school and they tell me “ I didn’t know we could hire out our pitch to you”. They didn’t know they could reinvest in their kids future by letting Powerleague rent their pitch and in term provide accessible sport for their Community. Leisure centres sit their with their pitch space unused not knowing we can enhance membership sales. Football clubs with their only income on a Saturday. We can play on the pitch, and maybe produce the next star for the first team. The term “dedicated” is banded around far too easily - but it is the only way to describe what we are at Powerleague. 400 venues… ⚽️ 400 towns trusting Powerleague to provide sporting environments for them ⚽️ DEDICATED staff. Recently, we organized our annual sports day, and the impact it had on our team's morale and overall productivity was truly remarkable. With nearly 150 employees from across various departments participating, our sports day was a celebration of unity, teamwork, and friendly competition. It was heartwarming to see colleagues from different backgrounds coming together, cheering for each other, and forging stronger bonds beyond the confines of their daily roles. But the benefits of this event went far beyond just having fun and building camaraderie. Here are 3 valuable ways it contributed to increased productivity and creativity within our organization: 1.
