The World Economic Forum kicks off the Sustainable Development Impact Meetings 2024 (#SDIM24) during this #climateweekNYC, gathering over 1,000 global leaders to accelerate progress on the #SDGs. This presents a unique opportunity for us to convene key stakeholders tomorrow for an intimate dialogue for our multistakeholder, multisectoral #freshwater community under the theme 💧 ‘Partnering for Our Freshwater Futures’ 🤝 . 🚀💦 The global #water agenda is gaining momentum, but political will alone is not enough— #industries engagement and #innovation are essential. We need collective efforts across #valuechains to turn commitments into meaningful action, as business-as-usual continues to harm the water cycle, threatening sustainable development as well as economic stability. 🌏 🧬🌊 Water stewardship has already emerged as a top trend, with companies responding to scarcity, but increasingly, water must be in the DNA of corporate strategies.
