The inaugural edition of Shiprocket Shivir in 2023 was a momentous occasion. With zero prior experience in-house of organising a physical event of this scale, there was obvious anxiety whether we will be successful in our pursuit to create an Industry leading initiative. I remember multiple discussions with Saahil,our CEO, where he continuosly expressed concern if the event would see an empty hall and I constantly kept saying just one thing - don't worry, all is well. It was a conviction based on my prior experiences having organised multiple such events as well as a strong belief in the power of what we were trying to build - India's largest conclave designed for SMBs looking to learn and grow their businesses. What happened on D-day was something beyond our wildest dreams. Against a planned attendance of 700-800, 1600+ attendees thronged the event. The team on ground handled the increased traffic with extreme poise and ensured the event became a truly memorable physical debut for Shiprocket Shivir. The participants went back delighted with high words of praise including from CEOs of large media houses who organise such events regularly. 1 year later, Shiprocket Shivir is back - bigger and better(with all the learnings from last year incorporated too). We have already crossed the count of paid registrations, speakers, event partners, goodie bag partners etc compared to last year and we have 1 week to go with multiple enquiries still pouring in.
