The goal behind the trimaran shape is to achieve a maximum increase of liveable areas, with the volume of an 80m motor yacht on a 56m vessel. Width can become a concern, nevertheless some key features allow for it to stay off harbours for long periods of time with minimal consumption, achieving lower operating costs.
