Meet Andreea Lemnaru, a 2019 graduate, now a Host at the renowned Soho House & Co in Copenhagen. Soho House is an international private members' club for creative professionals in industries like art, fashion, and media.
Andreea shares:
"As a Host, my role is to welcome our extraordinary members and guests, making them feel at home. The personal connections I build are the most rewarding part of my job."
Her role is dynamic and varied, involving guest communication, internal event coordination, and multiple administrative tasks. It’s a demanding job that requires versatility, adaptability and a deep understanding of every aspect of the business.
"For anyone entering the hospitality industry, working in reception is an excellent starting point. It sharpens multitasking skills, broadens your perspective on how departments operate, and connects you with fascinating individuals daily, helping your professional growth and personal development", says Andreea.
"Is Hospitality easy? No—but it’s incredibly fun and rewarding. Meeting diverse people at such an intense rate is both challenging and enriching. What energizes me most is bringing joy and memorable experiences to others every day."
Well said Andreea - in a true hospitality spirit! 🌟

Is there a talent shortage in luxury hospitality across the Balearic Islands?
On the outside it may appear so... I have been experiencing a noticeable increase in calls from clients who are offering really fantastic land-based opportunities for residents but cannot seem to attract the quality hospitality candidates they´re looking for.
But I´m here to tell you that there is a plethora of local talent here - a really high level of culinary creativity and professionalism - you just need to know where to look and how to entice them. They are clued into the scene and know when an offer is below standards for their luxury service skillset and language abilities. Ohhh the number of times I´ve been asked to find a "cook" when the job spec calls for a qualified chef...
In my opinion the most critical thing here is to support the local employment scene rather than hire externally - who´s seen the recent media coverage of protests about "tourism" to the Balearics? In reality the uproar is about absent foreign investment driving up the cost of living (actually a global issue) and nothing to do with actual tourists - whom actually support local employment!! Which is why at Bluelime Bespoke Villa Hospitality Recruitment we have dedicated ourselves to supporting local talent and careers, and we´d love your support too :) If you have private staffing challenges to discuss, let´s talk - we can call or come to visit you at your convenience.

🎥 Why This Video Is a Must-Watch for PreSales Professionals
This video nails a crucial truth in PreSales: feature-function selling is not enough.
🚫 Your demo isn't just about showcasing what your product does. It's about creating an emotional connection that resonates and sticks. Storytelling is the game-changer, turning features into solutions that feel personal, relevant, and memorable.
🧩 How to Deliver Memorable Demos That Win Deals
To transform your demos into unforgettable experiences, follow these proven strategies:
🎬 Start With a Relatable Story
Why: Stories tap into emotions, helping your audience see themselves in the solution.
How: Share real-world success stories of clients who faced similar challenges and achieved results using your product.
🖼️ Paint a Picture with Visuals
Why: The brain processes visuals 60,000x faster than text. Use images, diagrams, and workflows that resonate with the client's challenges.
How: Use mockups or simulations that mirror their current environment and show your solution in action.
🧠 Engage the Limbic System
Why: Emotional triggers are key to decision-making.
How: Tailor your demo to align with buyer personas. Address their fears (e.g., risk of inaction) and aspirations (e.g., achieving growth).
🎯 Tell-Show-Tell Technique
Why: A structured approach keeps your audience focused and ensures clarity.
How:
Tell: Introduce the feature with a clear problem-solution statement.
Show: Demonstrate the feature in action with scenarios they relate to.
Tell: Recap how it delivers tangible value to their business.
🎤 Anticipate and Address Questions
Why: Addressing concerns builds confidence and credibility.
How: Prepare answers for common objections and ask the audience what’s on their mind.
🚀 End With a Vision
Why: People remember the last thing you say. Make it impactful.
How: Summarize the demo with a value close. Highlight how your solution can transform their future and meet their strategic goals.
🌟 Key Takeaways for PreSales Pros
✅ It’s Not About Features. It’s About Their Story: Map your demo to the client’s pain points, workflows, and objectives.
✅ Use Emotion as a Lever: Trigger emotional connections through relatable scenarios and solutions.
✅ Practice Until It’s Flawless: Rehearse in realistic conditions to ensure smooth delivery.
Your Demo’s Mission: Show your product as the bridge between their challenges and aspirations.
✨ Remember, great demos don’t sell products. They sell futures.
