One piece of advice I would give to founders trying to get a startup moving in the right direction: BE MORE BETH! This of course would mean nothing to those of you who haven't watched Kevin Costner's Yellowstone. It's really hard to navigate the risk and uncertainty, utilise limited resources, compete against other perhaps more advanced players, convince people to join your team, properly manage growth, win new business, adapt to the ever-changing environment, and whilst juggling all of that - keep yourself mentally stable! The #BeMoreBeth theory is about digging deep, and staying resilient through times when you might feel like it's not even worth it. It's about being ready to fight for what you believe in, and sticking to your guns at all times. Thankfully, I've not got too many battle scars, but TechPods is in its 6th year and our next goal is to grow to 100 people, meaning we lost our startup status a long time ago.
