Arm continued to grow in the first quarter of FY2024, with quarterly revenue reaching a record high of USD939 million, surpassing the analyst consensus of USD903 million. Arm continues to be at the center of our #AI strategy, leading the development of AI #chips. Major hyperscalers are increasingly deploying Arm-based chips and in May, Microsoft released PCs designed for high AI performance, which integrate the company's chips. Notably, Armv9, which delivers double the royalty rate compared to equivalent Armv8 based chips, contributed 25% of the overall royalty revenue in FY2024 Q1, marking a 5% increase from the previous quarter. We are confident in Arm's further long-term #growth as we work towards realizing ASI (Artificial Super Intelligence). For more information: https://lnkd.in/g94shyJr

Some exciting news came out of Nvidia's #GTC24 last week, from partnership announcements with Amazon and Microsoft to the B200 Blackwell chip running 30x faster. It is becoming increasingly evident and obvious that we have now entered a state in which the question is no longer HOW businesses think of using AI -but much rather WHERE the value of AI comes in. McKinsey & Company's recent article: 'Ten unsung Digital and AI ideas shaping business' (article link in comments) captures interesting insights and a lot of questions that I see the C-suites are cross-examining with their teams. Do you already have a defined and scalable plan in place for your AI GTM strategy? Or are the below questions still being asked and refined? 🤓 Do you have a clear view of your rate of technology-driven growth today compared with that of your direct competitors? 🧐 Do you have a clear view of which emerging technologies could most enhance your competitive differentiation? 🫡 How much value have your digital and AI initiatives generated in the past 6 months? Let's start a conversation around these important questions. #AI #businessgrowth #digitaltransformation #GenAI #DataCentricAI #MacineLearning

Just how rich are businesses getting in the AI gold rush? Nvidia and Microsoft are not the only winners The world is still in the early days of the generative-ai epoch. Even so, it has already been immensely #lucrative. All told, the 100 or so companies that we examined have together created $8trn in value for their owners since its start—which, for the purposes of this article, we define as October 2022, just before the launch of #Chatgpt . Not all these gains are the result of the ai frenzy—#stockmarkets have been on a broader tear of late—but many are. #businesses #AI #goldrush #Nvidia #Microsoft #winners #investment #artificialintelligence #gold #tech #bigtechs #rich #returns #wealthy

Is AI the Next Big Bubble? Baidu’s CEO Thinks So. AI is moving faster than ever, with giants like Nvidia, OpenAI, and Google investing billions to stay ahead. But Baidu's CEO Robin Li recently issued a bold warning: AI might be the next big bubble, similar to the dot-com era. According to him, only 1% of companies will survive long-term. Nvidia’s explosive growth—from $300 billion to $3.4 trillion in just two years—shows the AI frenzy in action. And as Microsoft, Apple, and other big players dive deeper into AI, even chipmakers like AMD and Intel are creating specialized tech for the sector. AI accuracy has improved immensely, but Li believes we're still a decade away from it significantly impacting jobs. His stance? Baidu won’t chase quick wins but will focus on steady growth. Are we on the verge of an AI bubble, or is this just the beginning? 🔁 Share if this gets you thinking. Let’s discuss AI’s future!

The future is AI powering one-person unicorns, and they might be shrouded in mystery ... At #IntelVision this week, Pat Gelsinger, CEO of Intel, outlined a future where AI automates entire offices, even businesses. Imagine AI agents collaborating seamlessly, leading to " the age of the first one-person, billion-dollar company.". https://lnkd.in/ewGW3SGx I predicted the highly automated enterprise in my 2022 book ‘The Autonomous Enterprise – Powered by AI’ https://lnkd.in/e5-TsbeK and in it I wrote extensively about AI powering innovation. I see it enabling new products and services as well as new ways of delivering them - doing business in completely new ways. I think the one person AI unicorn is possible. See my article “AI – A Catalyst for Global Innovation” published by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT: https://lnkd.in/e7BmUkeY The concept of a fully automated enterprise is fascinating but inevitably, there are many complexities to overcome. Among them is how AI agents might communicate with each other and with us. As AI agents advance in sophistication, they could develop unique communication methods. This harks back to instances where AI agents began negotiating in ways beyond human comprehension. Moreover, it’s not unusual for an AI creator to be in the dark about how their creation came up with a solution to a problem, or how it strategized to win a game. This raises a fascinating question: in a fully AI-automated enterprise, will we understand how these super-intelligent agents achieve their goals? Will we be partners with them, or just players in their game? Work in the future is going to be supercharged with AI but perhaps a little opaque. #AI #FutureofWork
