I attended the Revenue Growth Masterclass hosted by GrowthX® yesterday in #Bangalore. Saurabh Jain and Sudarsan Ravi discussed about their startup journey, the art of reducing CAC and building product for early adopters. Here is how I would like to sum up from the conversations I had with the founders and the community at the event: 1. Scaling a brand is more of an outside perspective than inside. A real life use case might help in getting the right insights rather than assuming one. 2. Growth is just not product led, its brand led, partnership led and event led Based on the TAM, Industry and Product Category, a figuring out of the right strategy is needed. 3. Ads are expensive, investing in user experiences is a better way of acquiring leads because customer stories are the best experiences. 4. American author, Seth Godin talks about a principle called ‘sneezers’ where sneezers are business carries who are willing to spread the idea and refer potential clients. Finding those carriers helps optimising acquisition. 5. Branding is a continuous commitment of expressing (Why) you exist while marketing is a repeated effort of activities showcasing (How) you are better.
