We follow certain creators online because we subconsciously aspire to be like them. 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫: 🍫 Dubai chocolate 🥗Cucumber salad 🦞Seafood boil 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬? On average, TikTok users spend about 41 minutes a day on the platform, making us impressionable to many marketers and content creators' thoughts and ideas. Studies reveal that young people encounter food marketing 30 to 189 times a week through social media. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭? Those who follow influencers promoting unhealthy foods tend to consume 26% more calories than those who don't, highlighting how social media can contribute to unhealthy eating habits. However, the "Feta Pasta" phenomenon led to a 45% increase in feta sales at fresh markets, showing how these trends can have a positive effect in terms of sales. Whilst the profits from these viral foods may create a positive impression, the reality reveals that consumers are more often influenced toward unhealthy eating habits rather than healthy ones.

Listen to "influencers" on social media and figuring out how to eat "healthy" gets real confusing, real fast. You can find a different "expert" warning you about the dangers of EVERY food and why that food should be avoided. Listen to them all, and by the end of it, you'll be left w/ nothing but air to eat. The reality is eating healthy is VERY simple. And there's 1 intersection every version of "healthy" has. That intersection can be summarized w/ this acronym ---> J.E.R.F Just Eat Real Food Single ingredient, whole foods. That alone will take you far on your health & fitness journey. Where guys mess up is thinking they have to eat perfect 24/7. You don't. So let go of that All or Nothing thinking. My guess is it hasn't served you in the past. Instead, chase the constant pursuit of improvement. You can make great tasting meals w/ single ingredients foods. In fact probably much better than what you I'm showing you here. This works for me. I'm boring. I'm lazy lol. Find what works for you within the context of that framework. #healthiswealth #foodismedicine #healthyeating #menshealth #mensfitness

You don't need more information on what you need to do. You don't need anecdotal evidence of what worked for the social media influencers you're following. You need to actually start doing for yourself. Keep it simple. The smaller the action the better since it will increase your success of actually doing it. Do it consistently and look to add to your habits over time. The changes you are seeking for yourself can't be found on google or social media. They are only found in you taking action and getting feedback over time as to what is working for you and what isn't. Choose one thing you can take action on today and do it.
