Ever considered therapy but not sure how to start? Say hello to Mitsu’s latest feature: “Ask Mitsu”!💙 Now you can ask all your questions about starting therapy, how it works or what to expect. And get responses from one of Mitsu’s in-house therapists. For free! Why this feature? Because almost everyone needs some help! 90% of people in India who need it haven't ever taken professional support for mental health. So, we often don’t know where and how to start. We realised that a lot of our customer support interactions are about guiding people about the process of therapy, setting the right expectations, and clearing misperceptions. What better way to do so than giving our users the opportunity to ask these directly to an experienced therapist. And so “Ask Mitsu” was born! But that's not all! We have also introduced a free mental health toolkit to help you improve your daily mental well-being that includes techniques such as mood log, journaling, mood tracker, and calming exercises.🔆 Just download the Mitsu.care app now and take your first step toward feeling better today! Link to the app stores in the comment. Mitsu.care #mentalhealth #mentalhealthsupport

Mental health stigmas can often come from either a place of fear or a lack of understanding. Unfortunately, this combination can foster a negative view of individuals who are dealing with mental health issues. An increasing awareness of mental health helps society work toward eliminating its stigmas, but it does much more. For instance, developing a greater understanding of mental illness can allow people to recognize those in their lives who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, or other conditions that affect their mental well-being. This could even include a self-realization of their own mental health conditions. Great going Mindcafe India, Sneh Nigam, Dr. Anjuli Thawait, Tushar Choubey
After working for almost 1.5 years in the mental healthcare industry, I realised an alarming need to educate a huge chunk of population across different age groups. During awareness sessions, casual chats and group discussions about mental health, I interacted with several people who outrightly rejected the idea of mental healthcare and believed that mental healthcare is just a distraction and an advent of Western concepts in the Indian culture. In my opinion, people often hesitate to talk about their mental health problems because they perceive them as a sign of a weak character rather than accepting them as a natural condition that might be a product of an imbalanced lifestyle, disturbed surroundings or self-doubt. When I was preparing for a competitive examination, I attended multiple mental health well-being workshops which proved to be helpful in understanding the importance of taking care of mental health to sustain in the competitive environment, not just of examination but of life as well. Only after witnessing those workshops, I figure out the art of streamlining thoughts, emotional intelligence, and the need for a solution-oriented society and started looking for an opportunity to work in the same field. I’m very grateful to be a part of Mindcafe India wherein we are dedicated to making a solution-oriented society by providing holistic solutions to mental health problems at a single doorstep. Mental well-being and storytelling are closely related to each other! Sharing experiences through storytelling can help bridge gaps, empathise with others and drive meaningful changes in mental health. I once attended a mental health awareness session where a young woman shared her journey through depression. She spoke candidly about her darkest days, the moments when she felt utterly alone, and how she eventually found hope and healing. As she spoke, the room fell silent—not out of discomfort, but because everyone was captivated by the raw honesty in her words. What struck me most wasn’t just the story itself and its impact on attendees. People who had never met her before approached her afterwards, some with tears in their eyes, thanking her for giving voice to the struggles they had faced silently for years. That moment was a powerful reminder of the role storytelling plays in mental health awareness. At Mindcafe India, we have created a culture where anyone can share their story on Mind Feeds without revealing their identity and feel empowered. When we hear someone else’s story, it’s not just their journey we’re witnessing but a reflection of our own struggles, fears, and hopes. This connection promotes empathy, breaking down the barriers that often keep us isolated in our mental health battles. Real-life stories have the unique ability to spark change. They cut through the stigma, making mental health issues feel more relatable and less abstract. Stories invite us to step into someone else’s shoes, to understand their pain and challenges. They remind us that we’re not alone and that it’s okay to seek help. Mindcafe India also offers a variety of storytelling sessions that emphasise on mental well-being. In a world where mental health is still taboo, storytelling becomes a powerful tool for awareness and advocacy. It’s through these shared narratives that we can create a culture of understanding, where mental health is not just acknowledged, but deeply valued and supported. Let’s connect and create a solution-oriented society through storytelling :) #storytelling #mentalhealthnetwork #mentalwellbeing #mentalhealthawareness #breakingstigma

How do you position a mental health brand for deeper impact and wider appeal? 🌿 As we approach October 10th, World Mental Health Day, it is worth sharing how we helped Unalome, one of the leading mental health brands, in changing the narrative towards therapy and mental health in general. Unalome, a sanctuary for psychotherapy, faced the challenge of overcoming misconceptions in India. They needed to highlight their biopsychosocial model and rebrand to reflect their deeper mission. ✨ Our thought for this was that it should be easy to understand, real and that it should depict a comprehensive communication strategy. The three key highlights which we were very keen on our attention were as follows: 1️⃣ Holistic Symbolism and Process-driven Therapy: “Unalome” represents the winding journey of self-discovery and healing - focusing on growth, empowerment, and breaking away from traditional passive perceptions. 2️⃣ Visual Language: The “Thread of Thought” symbolizes untangling complex emotions with clarity. 3️⃣ Colour Palette: Dark teal for seriousness, fresh teal for clarity, vibrant yellow for optimism, and soft coral for warmth. With a new, compassionate identity, Unalome now resonates as a beacon of mental health support, empowering clients to embrace their journey of healing. Huge thanks to the Unalome Therapy team and Firebrand India their incredible collaboration on this project! #WorldMentalHealthDay #strategy #branding

Feeling incredibly grateful for the opportunity to conduct a mental health workshop on self-care and stress management for amazing young girls from different parts of India. The energy was electric as we explored these vital topics through role-playing, interactive activities, and open discussions. ✨ Witnessing the girls' enthusiasm and willingness to learn was truly inspiring. Their active participation created a space of mutual learning and growth, making the experience even more rewarding. A huge thank you to Akhandjyoti Foundation and Deepa Chaudhary for letting me be a part of this incredible initiative. Empowering our young girls to prioritize their mental well-being is crucial, and I'm honored to contribute to this cause. Self-care is the cornerstone of emotional well-being. It's not just about bubble baths and face masks; it's about consciously choosing activities that nourish our minds, bodies, and souls. By nurturing ourselves, we build resilience and empower ourselves to thrive. #letsbroach #youremotionalwellnesspartner #mentalhealthmatters #selfcare #stressmanagement #empoweringgirls #gratitude #humanmind #strength #life #psychology

Part-1: Social Media vs Mental Health Recently, I was invited by the Beinspo India platform as a guest speaker. Let me explain what exactly the Beinspo India platform is: it's similar to platforms like Josh Talks and TEDx Talks, where people share their stories, struggles, values, beliefs, and thoughts. As a student of public speaking, I love to speak on different topics, and the topic they provided me was the Importance of Mental Health. Within my capacity, I shared my knowledge, experience, and wisdom on that particular topic. So, this is Part-1. Share your views on it too. I'll see you in Part-2. #CommunicationSkills #EffectiveCommunication #CareerDevelopment #ProfessionalGrowth #Teamwork #LeadershipSkills #PublicSpeaking #Mentalhealth #SocialMedia

“True empathy isn’t about offering solutions, but about standing still in someone else’s reality.” When we practice empathy, we acknowledge the emotional experiences of others. Small gestures like listening without judgment or offering kind words help create a world where everyone feels seen and supported. Ultimately reducing the feelings of isolation, anxiety, and stress, while fostering a sense of belonging and emotional safety. Mental health as a right begins with ensuring that people feel emotionally understood and supported. A simple, empathetic act—checking in on someone or offering a helping hand—affirms that everyone deserves respect and care, regardless of their mental and emotional status. Acts of empathy remind us that no one should struggle alone. By practicing empathy, we actively contribute to a world where mental health is recognized and protected as a universal right for every individual, everywhere. So, today on this World Mental Health Day, let's take a pledge to be 'available' and empathetic for everyone. Mindcafe India wishes you all a very HAPPY MENTAL HEALTH DAY and, believes that this will be the first step we take towards: 'Empathetically helping everyone to look at their mental health as a basic human right they have!'
