PURSUIT OF TRUE CALLING - PART 2 "Pursuit of True Calling" is equivalent to "pursuit of happiness" because if we think deeply, we will soon be realizing that if we get to know what exactly we want to do in our life or with our life, we will be able to live a meaningful and contended life and there will be no stress we will be experiencing which we all are going through currently. Majority of the population in the world is living a stressful life because of doing anything in today's age forcefully. We are running behind monetary and other materialistic rewards against investing our time something into and eventually losing the blissful experience of learning or doing anything. If we are exploring and finding our true calling, our IKIGAI, monetary and other materialistic benefits would be the "By-Product " of your activity. And you do not have to stress much about those things. Let's make upcoming years, the years of exploring multiple things to find our IKIGAI and lead a life of your choices and live the life to the fullest. Beta #topper hokar #Arts choose kroge?😲"- a question I got asked most frequently, back in the day.🧐 A decade and a half ago, picking #Humanities as my major was not just a choice; it was a statement. It was a testament to my belief that #passion overpowers the transient perks any industry might offer.🫰 It's disheartening to see that in many parts of the world, including #India, one's #intelligence is still measured by "#academic #scores", and the choice of stream is often seen as a direct correlation to future #financial success.😓 This archaic narrative insists that only the "intelligent" pursue professions like medicine and engineering, while lucrative paychecks await only those in tech or business.💵💸 However, in my eight years of navigating through my chosen path as a #Psychologist, I've learned and lived the truth that contradicts these stereotypes. ❤️ The misconception that only certain professions warrant intellectual respect and financial reward is just that—a misconception.💯 To the #parents and guardians reading this: Please don't define your children's potential by their academic scores or the perceived prestige of their chosen fields. 🫰 The stories of legends like Amitabh Bachchan, Droupadi Murmu, Virat Kohli, and Harmanpreet Kaur remind us that greatness knows no bounds and is not confined to traditional paths.❤️💙 I'm grateful my parents were always supportive of my #interests, proving that when you follow your heart, everything else—#recognition, #satisfaction, and yes, even those hefty #paychecks—will follow. Let's pave the way for a future generation where success is defined by fulfillment, not just figures- because the heart wants what it wants :) ❤️ #careerdecisionmaking #psychology #psychologyjobs #psychologyopenings #careerinpsychology #psychologist #careers #passion #interest #topper #academics

𝐀 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐬! Imagine a girl who rarely step out of her house, didn't even get out to buy a packet of chips, she now finds herself adrift in a sprawling city, a sea of unfamiliar faces swirling around her A year ago today, I was moving here, filled with a million questions. Could I handle this new environment? Would I manage my finances okay? Looking back, it's amazing how much I've grown and learned to adapt. Here's to new beginnings and the exciting journey ahead! ✨ 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐬: 𝐌𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 🍁Learned to ask for help and prioritize mental well-being. 🍁 Setbacks are the part of your growth journey, accept it 🍁Mastered juggling academics, activities, and personal life ( dont overburden yourself) 🍁Took risks and stepped outside your comfort zone. (The real growth starts where the comfort zone ends) 🍁Embrace the Uniqueness: Learned to celebrate individuality and avoid comparison. 🍁Connected with amazing individuals with diverse background and perspective. 🍁Learned to prioritize mental and physical health. (I discovered the power of meditation) 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 & 𝐋𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 (𝐖𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦!): ● Discovered my passion for procrastination and perfected the art of last-minute cram sessions! ● I realize I knew nothing and had to start from scratch ● Learned to prioritize self-care (aka binge-watching Netflix, eating Maggie at 2 am and taking naps in the library - "Kabhi kabhi chalta hai") ● Had a well-rounded campus experience (events, societies, adulting struggles ) ● Financial Finesse (WIP)- Still figuring this one out! :) ● Never ending promise - "Next sem se pakka pdhunga" As I sit here, reflecting on my first year at Delhi University, It's been a year of growth, learning, and self-discovery, but also of struggles, setbacks, and coffee-fueled tears. 𝑙𝑒𝑡'𝑠 𝑠𝑤𝑎𝑝 𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑠, 𝑎𝑑𝑣𝑖𝑐𝑒, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑙𝑎𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑠. "𝗧𝗼𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄?" 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱. Tired of hearing "You're just a kid," when you know your potential? Age is a number, not a measure of your worth. While Wisdom comes with experience, Young minds often hold fresh perspectives and a hunger to learn. Don't let anyone underestimate you. We're all on the same journey, just at different stages. I've seen seasoned individuals repeat old mistakes, while younger folks learn quickly and adapt. Age doesn't define intelligence, and underestimating young minds is a recipe for stagnation. Let's break free from ageism and embrace the unique strengths each generation brings to the table. #challengeaccepted #youngindia #college #linkedin

I don't know what I want to do in life. Maybe I won't figure it out ever. Is this you? Here's a truth - so am I :) And so is everyone else here. And I want you to know that nobody knows what they really want to do. Anyone saying they have it all figured out is lying! I wanted to be a doctor since I was small. But it would be fair to say that I took science just because I wanted to "explore' I just knew about "neet", but I still wanted to explore more. + figuring out if I wanted to be a doctor or not. Everyone in my class was confused. Including me as well. The only path they show to science students is either jee or neet. I believe 90% (or maybe more) people who take science aim for either. I saw almost everyone prepare for jee and neet. I dreaded those subjects and all my 11th and 12th passed in lockdown. And then psychology happened! It was not my optional subject after 10th. But still I used to watch videos of psychology related topics. In 12th , I figured out I liked cinematography too! But now I want to take up bba after gap year. Because you know what? People change, circumstances change, situations change and your mindset? That changes too. You are not the person you used to be one year back and it's okay to lose a part of you everytime you grow. And it's okay to not know what you want to achieve in your 20s. We're all a little lost, and a little found. Make peace with the fact that you will change and you won't know it ALL. Sometimes it's okay to go with the flow. Ps : What you wanted to be when you grow up? 🧠 (Check out my current answer in the comments 🌻) Interesting much? Repost ♻️ and follow Ruchi for more 🌸 #linkedin #linkedincommunity #mindset #change #acceptance

AIISH was definitely nothing less than Bigg Boss/Bigg Brother with the Herculean tasks that were given to us. Regardless of it all, we have all learned a lot of life lessons. Aiza Raza has rightly pointed the three most valuable takeaways from AIISH😌 I can tell one thing for sure, if you can survive AIISH and Kapilas Ladies Hostel, you can survive in any corner of the world. 💪🏽
“🎧 Empowering Audiologists Worldwide | Career Insights 🌍 | Clinic Stories ✍️ | Daily Audiology Updates 📢”
Three Lessons I Learned at AIISH Mysuru That Still Keep Me Going 🎓✨ AIISH is the dream college for aspiring audiologists in India, and while it gave me knowledge, it also handed me some life lessons I live by even today. 1) Interviews and exams don’t scare me anymore 🤯 Surviving AIISH vivas is like surviving a reality show—but with fewer cameras and more clinical questions. After that, any interview feels like a walk in the park… with ice cream 🍦. 2) Growth happens outside your comfort zone 🌏 For me, this lesson started quite literally. Moving to Mysore from my hometown meant adjusting to a new language, culture, and cuisine 🍛. But the learning I gained there was priceless. Fast forward to now, and I’m applying the same principle while living and working in an entirely different country. 3) Follow passion, and excellence will follow 💡 AIISH’s faculty isn’t just brilliant—they’re inspiring. These are professors who make you think, Wow, they don’t even need caffeine to be this passionate! ☕ What’s the most valuable life lesson you’ve carried forward from your college days? 🤔 P.S. October 2021—My last day on campus 🏫💭.
