#ThinkRetail2024 was a fantastic event last week, and I greatly enjoyed hosting #retailmedia leaders and agencies at Google's first #retailmedia workshop. Some of the key trends that emerged from our session include : 1. Google Properties (Search, Maps, YouTube) are the #1 resource consumers say they use for holiday shopping and Retail Media Networks are using Performance Max to reach shoppers across all three. 2. September to October sees more category searches on Google than branded searches and is prime time to gain category market share for suppliers 3. Google Marketing Platform SA360 retail media beta is growing in its adoption and solving #retailmedia challenges in managing enterprise marketing and vendor specific campaigns holistically. With Best Buy Ads and Albertsons Media Collective joining Lowe's Companies, Inc.in the Beta.
