CrowdStrike customers globally are reporting systems going down and getting a 'Blue Screens of Death' (BSOD) error message, which seems to have been caused by an incorrect update. More info can be found on Reddit. There's a quick fix you can try by deleting a particular .sys file: To get Windows up and running again, try booting it in Safe Mode or Windows Recovery Environment. 1) Navigate to C:\Windows.sys directory 2) Search for the file matched with ‘C-00000291*.sys’ and delete it 3) Restart the system We're still waiting on an official fix from CrowdStrike.
