Is feedback a gift? It sure can be - even though it might not feel like it. The best feedback comes from loving critics—those who care deeply about your growth and success. These are the people you’ve invested in, built relationships with, and who understand your aspirations. They don’t just tell you what’s easy to hear—they tell you the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable (like “Hey, your shoes squeak!”). Build your network of loving critics before you need them, and invite them to challenge you, guide you, and help you reach the next level. 💡 Stay in touch and sign up for our newsletter at Slingshot25.com/sign-up. #leadershipdevelopment #Feedback #personaldevelopment #Slingshot25 #SeriousWorkCanBeFun

You'd be surprised how much we can get ahead by simply asking for advice & feedback 1. Identify the right person 2. Kill assumptions, ego and fear 3. Ask in person, sharing how much you trust their judgement Look around you. Your work, your family, friends etc. Start extracting people's intelligence. You'll be happy you gained something. They'll be happy they were able to help. It's win win. ALWAYS #advice #feedback

Have you ever been ghosted? Whether it’s in dating or in professional life, we’ve all experienced that sinking feeling when someone just vanishes without explanation. And let’s be honest—it’s awful. But here’s the thing: we’re only huemann. And as humans, we thrive on feedback. Ghosting doesn’t just leave someone in the dark—it leaves them doubting themselves, their worth, and their abilities. It’s like saying, “I’m not going to tell you what went wrong, but good luck figuring it out!” How is that supposed to help anyone? The truth is, giving constructive criticism isn’t difficult. It can be the difference between someone losing confidence or growing stronger from the experience. Honest feedback, given with kindness, can help people improve and move forward. Imagine how much better it would feel to guide someone, rather than leave them wondering what went wrong. None of us like being ghosted—so why should it be okay to do it to others? Whether it’s in everyday life or business, let’s be better. Let’s be the kind of people who communicate, share feedback, and help others grow. After all, we’re all huemann—let’s act like it. #ConstructiveFeedback #WeAreOnlyHuemann #EndGhosting #HelpOthersGrow #letsbehonest #realtalk #treatothershowyouwanttobetreated #letschange

The Power of a Small, Trusted Inner Circle 💡 As I progress in my career and life, one of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is the importance of having a small, trusted inner circle. It’s during challenging times—when everything seems uncertain—that you truly discover who is in your corner. Not everyone who’s around you is for you. Some are simply there as observers… or dare I say, voyeurs. 👀 That’s why surrounding yourself with a few reliable, authentic individuals is more important than being surrounded by a large number of onlookers. Your inner circle should be the people who: ✔️ Stand by you through challenges and adversity. ✔️ Offer honest feedback when it’s needed most, even if it’s uncomfortable. ✔️ Celebrate your success and support your growth—personally and professionally. They may be few, but they are invaluable. 💯 As I reflect on this lesson, I’ve become more intentional about building a circle based on trust, integrity, and genuine support. Take a moment to recognize those who have been there for you—not just when it’s convenient, but when it’s difficult. If you have a strong inner circle, cherish it. What has your experience been like in cultivating a strong support system? Let’s talk about it in the comments. 💬 #LeadershipLessons #ProfessionalGrowth #SupportSystem #TrustedAllies #CareerDevelopment

**Why Do We Only Speak Up When Things Go Wrong? 🤔** It’s fascinating how often posts criticizing a company or situation spark a flood of comments, but when something good happens, the reaction is much quieter. Why is that? Negative events naturally draw attention because they stand out, and we feel compelled to voice our frustrations. But imagine the impact if we made it a habit to also highlight the good! Positive feedback fuels progress, boosts morale, and helps us build stronger communities. So today, let’s change the narrative! Share something positive you've noticed at work, in your industry, or in your daily life. Let’s make good news just as viral! Yesterday, I shared my experience of dealing with my first online troll. It’s easy to let negative comments steal the spotlight and take up more mental space than they deserve. For me, I treated it as practice for when I make YouTube videos and do live streams. However, today I want to focus on a different kind of feedback, a positive one that truly made a difference! I recently provided constructive feedback to someone struggling to advance in their career. She took my advice to heart and applied the suggestions. Now, she has a sounding board for ideas. Moments like these remind me why I do what I do: - To help others grow - To help others succeed - To help others reach their full potential. Let’s give more attention to the positive moments that fuel us, not the negativity that tries to drag us down. Who else has a positive story to share? Let's shift our focus and celebrate our wins together! Secret Easter Egg message: What’s one piece of feedback you’ve received that made a substantial difference in your journey?
