Conformity kills businesses. Many times we recruit similar people to companies with the expectation of cultural fit, but we miss out on people with different backgrounds, experiences, and thought processes. This problem can be further exacerbated by cultures that encourage everyone to assimilate, rather than bring their unique skills and knowledge to the table with new ideas and ways of thinking. If you want to produce more innovation and creativity, make sure you lead by example and show your employees they can bring their authentic selves to work. Incorporate individuality rather than conformity, and watch your results soar. #culture #hr #business

Sacrificing short-term profits for long-term value? According to Mordfin (2014), companies with a real culture of integrity, as perceived by their employees, will create more long-term value. Although this sometimes means sacrificing short-term profits to achieve long-term value, in the end, a stronger culture leads to greater employee engagement, lower turnover rates, and improved productivity. Do you see the value of enhancing your company culture? Are you curious about how to improve your company's culture to create both a better work environment and long-term value? Please reach out to Henno Janmaat or Niels Kooi for more information about boosting your company culture! #CultureChange #CompanyCulture #EmployeePerformance Source: Mordfin, R.I. (2014). Companies don't create toxic environment. → People do! Companies don't create policies. → People do! Companies don't drive innovation. → People do! Companies don't define culture. → People do! Employee well being is NOT an event but it is an ongoing activity. Agree? #peoplemanagement #workculture #hrcommunity #corporatelife

It is essential to attracting and retaining top talent and increases employee engagement and productivity. Core partner Ed McMahon was interviewed a few weeks ago by Authority magazine to discuss the importance of corporate culture in business today. Using his expertise, he discusses how creating the corporate culture you want to represent your brand is crucial for success.
