What generative AI has in common with my recent vacation? Nothing; absolutely nothing 😁 Do you ever take time off to recharge and reset your state of mind? I just took a week-long vacation with my family, and it was the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax. I was playing with my kids, relaxing in the sun and not forgetting to eat to stay in shape 😉 As I was reading a business book, I found my mind wandering and reflecting on how the ideas presented could be applied to my work and personal life. It was refreshing to have the mental space to think deeply and ponder important topics. 🤩 While generative AI has the potential to make us more efficient and deliver higher quality work, it cannot replace the need for quiet time to recover and reset our state of mind. It's up to each of us to take responsibility for our own well-being and ensure we stay in a high-performance state. So, take care of yourself and remember to take some time to recharge and reset. Your mind and body will thank you for it! 🙌 Nico, do you remember the bag? We have brought it to the right place ;-)

Thank you all for the kind birthday wishes. I typically try to play this down but alas, LinkedIn has that critical date. As I enter the final phase of my career, I find myself tethered to a desk, far too many hours a day thinking... what the heck am I doing this for? Yet, for those that follow my AI journey path, this project has reinforced that today, and maybe for another 5 years, being a subject matter expert, knowing your job and being really good at it, as we all are, and having the Human Intelligence to NOT inject Bias and Hallucinations into our recommendations and work ethic, IS the accomplishment of our career. If we, as the old timers can pass that wisdom along now, maybe, just maybe, the NextGen will understand why knowing your job, doing it well and being a Pro, with experience is "the point". YET... based on what I am working with now, there will be companies that augment their reality and use AI as a tool, and those that accept it as fact and become very lazy. Soon, they won't even know that a human actually "wrote" an article, or painted a picture, created a story, and experienced the frustration of looking at a blank white page when beginning a project. Today, I have relevance, today I provide bumpers of wisdom. But the day is coming when everything generated as AI will be the final reality and no one will question it.

During a recent conversation, my mentor playfully referred to me as a 'tool junkie.' Reflecting on this, I realized he's absolutely right. My enthusiasm for exploring and utilizing various software tools has significantly enhanced both my productivity and creativity. These tools are not just a part of my work; they are a part of my continuous learning journey. 😊 In the realm of software, I particularly enjoy experimenting with generative AI. It's a field that combines technical prowess with artistic expression, offering endless possibilities. To demonstrate this, I've created a unique piece of AI-generated art. This creation is dedicated to Jodie Lee Hutson, whose just such a kind soul who gives of herself so generously. Jodie, this is my way of saying thank you for being such a positive force in my journey. For those curious about generative AI or keen on discussing the impact of such tools in our professional lives, I'd love to hear your thoughts. What are your favorite tools for productivity and creativity?

Dear Network, As part of my master's thesis at ESSCA, I am conducting a three-part Delphi study focusing on the use of Artificial Intelligence in bankruptcy prediction. 🔎 For this purpose, I am seeking experts from the fields of Artificial Intelligence, restructuring, insolvency administration, banking, rating agencies, and FinTechs. The survey takes approximately 8-10 minutes to complete. I would greatly appreciate your participation! 📝 Please click here to access the survey in English: https://lnkd.in/eBnjNxzG If you prefer to answer in German, please click here instead: https://lnkd.in/eAWY_4cU The study addresses the following key areas: 1. The use of AI to develop new key performance indicators (KPIs) in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to improve bankruptcy prediction. 2. A comparison of AI models in academic research and their practical application for company risk assessment. 3. Improvements in early crisis detection using AI. 4. The development of stakeholder-specific indicators as an early warning system with the help of AI. 💡 This survey constitutes the first of three parts of my Delphi study, where experts can provide their opinions. After each round of questions, the results will be shared with the participants. The aim of this Delphi study is to strive for consensus through repeated questioning and the exchange of results. 🙏 I would be very grateful if you could share this post with your network as well, so that as many experts as possible in the relevant subject areas become aware of it. If you have any questions, I am always at your disposal. Thank you in advance for your time and support. Sincerely, Tim Dierolf

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐈 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲...✨ I came across this amazing post by VIOLA DAVIS on Instagram and I had to share it! "All the images were created from the “Give Them Flowers” series this past February," and were in her opinion "inspired by love and respect for those who have made a significant impact on our culture" and I am inclined to agree with her! Do you have a vision for AI? Because this is mine! #Artificialintelligence #Datascience #Inovation #Technology #AI

I enjoyed this meme a lot yesterday! The trap 🫢is set, rhetorical cost 💲 could be higher than we think 🧐. How not too fall into a spending blackhole in 2024. 3 things to consider I would say to consider as we released in our press release “technovision top5 tech trends” genAI was first 😊: 🧒 Small is the new big: do you really need a 100B+ model do copy paste things in excel? 🤖 🤖 army of task specific agents could to it better and fast, and cheaper, maybe even on the edge. 🚀 Platforms platforms… The growth in adaptation is not being met because of 3 main blockers: (trustworthy data, integrated tools, and (AI)talent. Each of these factors has proven to be difficult to overcome. Going forward, organizations will need AI-platforms that enable merging the old world of AI/ML with the new world of GenAI, consider model traceability of data and training pipeline, tools that are trusted, and exploitability of how the models are trained to be able to implement GenAI at scale, and control. Stay curious 🧐 thank you sharing Eric Vyacheslav Robert H.P. Engels Henk Vermeulen Steve Jones

Nightshade is here from the creators of Glaze! 😄 Go get it and nightshade ALL your artwork! You can use Glaze too afterwards. https://lnkd.in/et3UvGPp How does Nightshade work? Nightshade allows users to attach it to their creative work, and it will poison training data using that art. Eventually, it can ruin future models of AI art platforms, removing its ability to create images. Nightshade adds invisible changes to pixels in a piece of digital art. When the work is ingested by a model for training, the “poison” exploits a security vulnerability that confuses the model, so it will no longer read an image of a car as a car and come up with a cow instead. Thank you Ben Zhao and your team for your work 😊 Tip: Use Nightshade on EVERYTHING you upload online, not only your artwork. That should include social media profile pictures, daily photos about your meal, puppies, kittens, events, random street shots - and let the game begin.

Train to a City Called Success There is nothing more satisfying than when you figure out a tool and it helps you to do your work exactly as intended. I am not shy about sharing my gratitude. Thanks to MIT Professional Education, MIT xPRO, Designing and Building AI Products and Services from MIT xPRO. I wanted to drink from the source and they cut on the firehose and said, "Drink up! We have a bottomless well and its up to you to soak up as much as you can." Abel Sanchez thank you for lectures. Your direct, no-nonsense, simple-gets-it-done approach has pushed me to building a solution that in its first day has already produced several wacky and fulfilling short stories. Miruna Clinciu, you are an angel. Thank you for your patience, guidance and advice. Today I was able to get a taste of how I can create original content while leveraging the true power that AIML solutions have to offer the creator's mind. 100% my voice. AI assisted. All my words without one suggestion from the LLM. Huh? It's possible. I am excited to share my findings as soon as I am at a stage where I work out the majority of the edge cases. Have fun creating. :)
