Attaining peace: The key to seeing oneself in all beings As Mahatma Gandhi once said, 'Be the change you wish to see in the world.' But how can we achieve this change without first cultivating inner peace? 'How can one attain peace?' he asked. The answer lies in the notion of interconnectedness. By seeing oneself in all beings and all beings in oneself, we can transcend our ego and embrace compassion and empathy. This is the first step towards attaining inner peace and radiating it outwards to the world. #innerpeace #compassion #interconnectedness

🕊️ Peace begins with us. On this International Day of Non-Violence, which also marks the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, let’s reflect on the values that shaped his legacy. Key lessons from Gandhi’s life: Truth and Transparency: Gandhi believed that truth was the most powerful weapon. Honesty and integrity build lasting trust in both personal and professional relationships. Non-Violence: His philosophy of Ahimsa teaches us the strength of peaceful resistance, inspiring us to resolve conflicts with empathy and understanding. Simplicity: Gandhi’s life showed that simplicity is a powerful tool to focus on what truly matters—values, purpose, and meaningful impact. Let’s honor his legacy by embracing these principles in our daily actions, whether in the workplace or our communities. #InternationalDayOfNonViolence #MahatmaGandhi #PeaceInAction #TruthAndNonViolence #LeadershipByExample

Jai Shree Krishna and Jai Shree Ram. We have to learn to love without fear of rejection, to enjoy things without fear of loss, and to consume things without getting consumed by them. from Aloneness to Oneness book by Shree.Todd Perelmuter Rumi's poem, "Forget about race, nation, or religion; we are all born from divine love and have the same source, love," encapsulates a timeless and universal message of unity and interconnectedness. This poem urges us to transcend the superficial divisions that often segregate humanity—such as race, nationality, and religion—and recognize the common origin that binds us all: love. At the heart of Rumi's message is the idea that divine love is the fundamental essence from which all humans originate. This divine love is pure, unconditional, and all-encompassing, transcending any man-made barriers that might otherwise create discord and separation among people. By emphasizing our shared source, Rumi invites us to see beyond our differences and acknowledge the inherent oneness of the human experience. In a world often fragmented by prejudice, conflict, and division, Rumi's poem serves as a powerful reminder of our shared humanity. It calls on us to cultivate a sense of compassion, understanding, and empathy for others, recognizing that beneath the surface, we are all connected through the same divine essence. Ultimately, this poem encourages us to embrace love as the true guiding force in our lives. By doing so, we can foster a more harmonious and inclusive world, where the bonds of love and unity are stronger than the divisions of race, nation, or religion. Rumi's wisdom inspires us to look within and find the common thread of love that unites us all. From FB wall of Ms.Rhoda Moodley. https://lnkd.in/gXngjmT6
