Remote medical directors are revolutionizing healthcare coordination, ensuring seamless care transitions and optimal outcomes. Remote medical directors provide centralized oversight, coordinating care across multiple providers, specialties, and settings to ensure continuity and consistency in patient treatment. Through remote consultations, medical directors offer timely guidance and support to healthcare teams, facilitating informed decision-making and enhancing patient care. Remote medical directors leverage digital platforms and telecommunication tools to facilitate efficient communication and collaboration among healthcare providers, promoting teamwork and cohesion. Remote medical directors serve as advocates for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are prioritized throughout the care continuum. They address concerns, facilitate access to resources, and empower patients to make informed decisions about their health. Remote medical directors uphold clinical standards and best practices, conducting regular reviews and assessments to ensure the delivery of high-quality care across all care settings. By enhancing care coordination and communication, remote medical directors play a vital role in improving patient outcomes, reducing healthcare disparities, and optimizing the overall quality of care. #medicaldirector #personalizedmedicine #ivhydration #medspa #solopractice #medicalpractice #medical #guardianMD

DON'T become a doctor. That's what 20+ physicians told me when I worked in the hospital.🏥 I asked them, "If you could go back and do it again, would you still become a doctor?" The answer was overwhelmingly "NO." 😲 Their reasons? 👉🏼 Lack of autonomy 👉🏼 Stressed and unhealthy 👉🏼 Frustrated at the system 👉🏼 Single without time to date 👉🏼 Overworked and under paid 👉🏼 Divorced twice after 10 years 👉🏼 Missed out on a decade of life 👉🏼 Not enough time with their kids ...............And the list went on................ So I had to reassess. What should I do with my career? 🤔 ___________ This is what happens to THOUSANDS of prospective doctors each year. They see the dissatisfaction They hear doctors' honest opinion And look elsewhere to establish a career. No wonder we're short on physicians! ________________ As for me, Although it's frustrating at times, I LOVE healthcare. I also love data and process improvement. Now I support healthcare leaders all over the US, providing analytics and Epic support to make their lives easier. ❤️ ___________________ Non-Clinicians in healthcare: ➡ How did you get here? That’s one side of the mirror. In fact when I became a doctor I had plenty of time to speak and TALK with my patients And a few hours to burocratic work. Nowadays we have plenty of time in computers trying to assess digital plataforms to fill, in order to “serve” a huge hierarquy of informatics and administrators. And the time to speak, talk and empathise with patients, be came shorter and shorter. That’ s a way of practice medicine that is no more actrative and is perhaps a pervasive form of practicing medicine. Doctors are humanistic scientists, not burocratic performers. That is why many of them gabe and give up actually. In adition they wont be autonomous and not beeing manipulated by patients and administrations.

Physician’s Biggest Challenges Survey In reading this article, I don’t think anyone will be surprised that Administrative Work, including EHR reporting burdens, billing and coding requirements and collections, are the top challenges listed for physicians. Staffing shortages and turnover just exacerbate that problem. The above mentioned cover 50% of the top concerns. Another nearly 30% of concerns are around losing patients to competition (patient satisfaction is key). With the technology available today a combined 80% of the physicians top challenges can be easily solved. Unfortunately, fully automating administrative burden from physicians and their staff (improve job satisfaction and they will stay) can mean costly integrations that will add more burden and likely months of distractions. Trying to hire front line staff can address some of these issues, but hiring, training and managing a large enough team to provide support to ALL of your patients (not just the highest risk/most needy) is not an economical or efficient solution. Deploying a hybrid model utilizing a tech first outreach to ALL, but having the ability to escalate cases to an empathetic human when additional coordination is needed has been highly successful for many of Rely Health’s hospitals, physician groups, and value based care programs. Having a proven and successful solution to address this whirlwind of challenges without adding additional tech integration or staffing burden is exactly why I am excited to join Rely Health. https://lnkd.in/etSTTx9E #carenavigation #hospitals #physicians #clinicianburnout #valuebasedcare #patientexperience #patientsatisfaction #patientcentriccare #physician #practicemanagement
