Importante insight. Thanks for sharing Eng. Isaac Elias, just to add usually these types of bearings are subject to two types of forces, radial forces and axial forces/thrust loads. They are main three types of rolling bearings namely: Ball bearings, roller bearings and needle bearings: Basically the selection criteria is based on the application and the types of loads that the bearings are going to be subjected, as we know some rolling bearings can support more radial loads than the axial loads which is the case of Deep groove ball bearings and some can support more axial loads and others are designed to support the both combined loads which is the cases of angular contact ball bearings. The rolling bearings also called anti-friction bearing and have the following main function: Suport the rotating shaft and Reduce the friction. Roller bearings are durable, can withstand heavy loads, and generate less noise and vibration than sliding bearings #Bearing #Application #Working #principle #Loads
