LinkedIn is the new spam box. Seriously people. If you can't take the time to personalize your outreach, why should any of us spend any time responding? "Decline without sending message". Is there a bot for that too?

Beware of spam on LinkedIn! If you receive vague messages from 3rd connections with no capital letters and a profile picture that looks more like a model than a businessperson, it's probably spam. If you're unsure whether a message is spam, remember that spam filters always start with the Human Element. If it's from a 3rd connection, just delete and block it. Stay safe and keep your LinkedIn inbox spam-free!

Want to get more replies to your cold emails? Ok, here's 1 surprising tip: 🥁 🥁 Post on LinkedIn. Sounds basic? Hmmmmm, maybe. BUT. Do you know that most people check your stuff online before replying to your cold emails? Rethink your outbound approach; old strategies won't cut it! 🔄 Here’s a new playbook for our evolving digital landscape... ↳ Recognize the limits: Cold emails and impersonal LinkedIn messages are losing effectiveness. The risk of being blacklisted is real, and being ignored is almost guaranteed. ↳ Focus on warm introductions: Utilize The Swarm to connect through already established relationships. This ensures your communications are welcomed, not wasted. ↳ Don't Abuse LinkedIn: With email's efficacy waning, LinkedIn's role is growing. But avoid the spammy tactics! Your strategy must adapt to stay effective. Harness your network, not just for reach but for relevance. 🔥 Amazing insights from our friend, Alex Shandrovsky #GTM #GoToNetwork #GoToMarket #DemandGeneration

Here is why I stopped checking my LinkedIn messages... There are good things on LinkedIn, but there are also bad things. One of the worst features of this platform is messaging, which serves mainly as a channel for spamming. What does LinkedIn do to prevent spamming? Apparently, not too much 🤦🏻♂️. Here is an example of a spam message I received and the response from LinkedIn after reporting it as spam👇🏼

Today, I want to talk about this network marketing scam on LinkedIn. Some people teach others how to grow on LinkedIn, so that those learned people can teach others, how to grow on LinkedIn. I don't have anything personal against those people, but isn't it still a pyramid scheme where only the people at the top make money? If, in today's time, someone has to pay to learn about personal branding or business, that person is either living under a rock or too lazy to Google it. 🪨💥 Wake up, people—don't be the bottom of someone else's pyramid. 💼🔻 #LinkedInRealTalk #NetworkMarketing #PyramidScheme #TruthHurts #PersonalBranding #BusinessKnowledge
