Our first product for adults!
For the past 12 years we’ve exclusively built products for children. Our goals have always been focused on helping kids with an illness (or facing complex medical procedures) emotionally engage with their health.
And our methodology to achieve this is rooted in medical simulation - empowering children to practice the same medical procedures that they will experience. We’ve seen how effective this type of simulation is at helping children understand medical procedures, and set expectations for what they will experience as a part of their own care.
As we’ve learned more about the pharma industry we’ve seen the need for better health education tools, to achieve similar goals for adults, particularly for communities with low health literacy.
How might we make consent more understandable, instructions for use more relatable, and clinical trial visits less stressful?
So we developed a medical simulation tool focused on leveraging visual learning to cut across languages and health literacy levels. When users interact with these simulations they shift from passive learners, into active learners - giving them a feeling of control over their lived experience.
Ultimately these are tools to set expectations with patients. And we believe that by setting expectations we can build a foundation of trust that drives everything from delightful patient experiences to improved adherence.

In our most recent ▶️ webinar for health science educators, Jeff Hartz, Center Director for East Indiana Area Health Education Center, shared valuable insights on leveraging Virtual Patient Simulations to enrich after-school programs.
When asked about the benefits of incorporating Body Interact into this programs, Hartz emphasized how it offers early exposure to simulation as a clinical learning modality. In just a 2-3 hour block of time, students can gain valuable experience in patient assessments, including vitals assessments and the ABCDEs.
