The Electoral College and the Popular Vote – How is the President Elected? In the U.S., the President and Vice President are elected by getting a majority of electoral college votes, they are not elected by popular vote. This means a President or Vice President can win a majority of individual votes on the national level, but still lose the state-based electoral vote, and thus lose the election.[1][2][3][4][5]

Regarding the US presidential election, There are two votes in the US presidential election process in November and December. The first is the popular national vote by November 5th; maybe Harris will win, I think. The second is the state electoral college vote in mid-December 2024. Consequently, the 50-state electoral college chose the US president as they were independent nations, respectively. Accordingly, in the US, the second-round state electoral college vote chooses the winner.

Electoral college results are the most important part of any Presidential election in the United States of America. The election is 5 days away, does every State Legislature know who the Electors are for their State? It was their job to choose them (U.S. Constitution). January 6th, 2021. This is no time for foolishness or cheating in the United States Presidential and Vice Presidential election. The popular vote count MUST be accurate, the electoral college MUST be applied properly (knowing who the electors are from each State and who their ballots are for), TRUST IS A MUST. Trust is the most important thing in the results of this election, the American people need to know that their vote counted and that the final results are accurate. U.S. Constitution: 7 Articles, 27 Amendments. The Electoral College is a state by state popular vote. God bless the USA.
