Bit of a cold start today as the splash team start preparation & rehersals for a 2 day project working with Bosch and ESMT Berlin. The last time I was in Berlin was December 1982 while serving with the HM Forces (ARMY) Corps of Royal Engineers. As an 18 year old coming from a small village in Wales, Berlin and the type of work I was involved with during this period of the Cold War left a lasting impression and memories that still stay with me. This weeks project the 180 participants will be challenged to lead, plan, execuate a community project using all their joint knowledge & experience to handover the project to the local community by Thursday evening. To achieve the task they will need to become an effective team quickly and deal with all the challenges that will come their way! 22 years later I am sure the participants on this programme will take away similar learnings I had while in Berlin..’’ with a committed team you can achieve so much more together’’ #together #impact #communiry
Still fond memories of the event in summer! It was great (definitely hotter ;) ) working with you guys. Looking forward to seeing the results!
All the best to you all especially To Lloyd

1wWonderful to see an English business achieving so much success overseas and providing superb facilities in many areas of deprivation in the world.
