One of the things I love about interviewing candidates for Maycomb Capital open positions is meeting talented people who want to do good work that does good. Finding the right person to add to your small (and growing) team is such a pivotal decision. Having interviewed 100s of candidates, completed anti-bias training, and had to address poor performance on teams I've managed directly, I get it. Hiring, onboarding & trusting someone to extend your vision and execute at the right level is essential to any startup or scaleup - whether your an investment fund or a tech startup. Culture matters. Skillsets matter. Lived experience matters. But mostly, I just love seeing how much raw talent is out there - especially in the young women of color who are betting on themselves. Keep it up, ladies!
